With out a doubt, this house is in the absolute best neighborhood/location in all of San Francisco. Imagine living directly across from the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Forum in Rome with a shimmering lake in the foreground! This beautifully restored Marina home has every bit of that and even more! Directly across from your living room window remains the last structured remnant of the 1915 Panama Pacific worlds fair: 'The Palace of Fine Arts,' or 'The Fine Arts Palace,' as it was once referred to. This fair was an epic event that commemorated the completion of the Panama canal and the rebirth of San Francisco from the disastrous 1906 earthquake and fire. The exposition consumed the entire marina district with structures, many of which were abandoned after the fair, leading it to be referred to as the 'Phantom City.'
With many of its luxurious amenities, this home offers 3000 sq ft of living space over three floors. The fully stocked large eat-in chef's kitchen has a Sub Zero refrigerator and Wolf Range. Sliding doors open to the covered patio with barbeque, fireplace and dining table. The entertainment room features a 65 inch flat panel TV, beer dispenser, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and half bath.
The master bedroom has a breathtaking view of the Palace of Fine Arts and features a California king bed, walk in closet, flat panel TV, and blackout curtains. The master en suite bath features double sinks and heated tile floors. The second bedroom offers a king size bed, couch, and large closet/lounge area. The third bedroom has a full size canopy bed. Luxury linens include Frette sheets and Turkish bath towels.
The romantic dining room/library has a crystal chandelier and shimmering silver walls. Enjoy a wonderful dinner or relax and peruse our library.

We spent a hole month in this wonderfull house. Very well furnished with every detail of confort on it.
The incredible outside view (palace of fine arts) was a very pleasant companion. Very quiet neighborhood, close to the marina and chesnut st.
The manager was very polite and helpfull.
We definetely look forward to returning.
Me and my family (wife + 3 Daughters) stayed in this spectacular home for a whole month. That was our first experience not in a hotel. I feel we are spoiled for life!
Being honest, I think it will be very difficult to find such a great house with a view like this one. What a wonderful vacation we had! Outside, a very peaceful neighborhood, an incredible front view, with very pleasant weather. We had perfect mornings and evenings jogging on the waterfront.
Inside, a very comfortable house, with every single luxury detail at our disposal. We had unforgettable times cooking, eating or watching movies.
Thanks for the manager (Joseph) for all the attention and kindness. Congratulations for a such professional and polite service.
We wish Joseph and the owners a spectacular 2015, with lots of peace and joy!
After many years of trying to find the perfect vacation rental in San Francisco for a small family, we have finally found the one. The home is extremely well furnished, has the most gorgeous view of the Palace of Fine Arts, and the most gracious and thoughtful hosts. The sightseeing begins at the home itself, with the many interesting framed antique postcards, pen-and-ink drawings, and lithographs that decorate the walls. Each and every room in the home is stylish, comfortable and functional. It is a tenant's dream. The mistake will be to not lease it.
This house definitely made our time spent in San Francisco memorable! We truly appreciate the stunning decor, from the chandeliers, wall coverings, marble flooring, upholstery and crystal and leather accents. The music sound system was fantastic and so relaxing. Joseph was so pleasant, kind and helpful. What an unexpected delight to be greeted with beautiful fresh flowers, a delicious cake and fruit after a long journey! This house is so charming and luxurious! We look forward to returning soon.
Absolutely magical. Everyone was so comfortable and commented on how beautifully the house was appointed. I have never stayed in a home so stylish yet so cozy and approachable. Joseph was so nice and prompt in communication with us and the little touches (cake, beer on tap, fruit) just helped make the experience even better. As other guests have said, this home greatly exceeded our expectations.

This house exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. It is located on an elegant street in the Marina, with beautiful homes and a magnificent view from the living room, master bedroom upstairs, and the guest bathroom downstairs of the stunning colonnade and dome of the Palace of Fine Arts. The daytime views are splendid but because the Palace is lit up at night, the sunset and evening views are truly spectacular.
The house is within easy walking distance to many terrific cafes, bistros, and restaurants, as well as a great bookstore and several bakeries and specialty grocery stores on Chestnut Street. it is also a mere three blocks to the Marina promenade, where you can jog, fly a kite, cycle and take in incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is plenty of on street parking, and the garage fit our two cars very comfortably.
The house itself is exquisitely decorated, practically designed, and very well furnished. The attention to detail is extraordinary. The owner spared no luxury so the house came stocked with the finest towels, linens, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Everything was so thoughtful. Very kindly provided were juices, drinks, fresh fruit, croissants, a lovely fresh cake and virtually everything one would keep in a luxury home.
This is a six star home in a fantastic location. We had our best stay in San Francisco ever. If you are a family or a small group, this house far exceeds a Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental experience. We could not have been more delighted or satisfied.
The house is cozy and comfortable, and there are special features like a gorgeous eat-in kitchen, a patio deck upstairs, and a lovely, impeccably manicured garden downstairs that connects to the den which has a huge TV, kitchenette, bathroom and fireplace.
Joseph was attentive and reliable. We arrived from overseas at midnight and he met us promptly at the home and politely explained all its features. We would recommend this fabulous house without reservation and look forward to many repeat visits. Thank you for give us our most memorable stay in San Francisco!

This makes it a perfect location that is truly second to none in San Francisco. The area boasts the finest weather, shopping, dinning, and social scene the city has to offer. We are just down the block from the local yacht harbor, beach and outdoor recreation areas, and a short distance to the famous Golden Gate Bridge.
