The cozy flat has authentic ceiling beams and tiles and has been stylishly decorated with contemporary furniture. This three-room apartment is very cozy, entirely renovated, well equipped and furnished with style, making it very comfortable. Ideally located in the historic Marais district, one of the finest and oldest in Paris, it is extremely quiet. This is perfect for a couple, with or without a friend/kid (not too young though). Le Marais is a neighborhood steeped in history and charm. Le Marais is the closest you will get to the feel of medieval Paris and has more pre-revolutionary buildings and streets left intact than any other area in Paris
The Marais is also known for its numerous art galleries and design shops..One thing is certain, you can't go to Paris and skip the Marais. It's very similar in feel to the West Village or Soho in Manhattan, with a different architecture of course, but the small crooked medieval lanes are alive with bars, restaurants, hotels, high and low fashion boutiques, trendy shops, hip designers, old fashioned bread shops, jewelry, wine shops, fashionable art galleries and museums all crammed into one small area.
One a more practical note:
Gay Friendly area
Very secure for ladies coming back late
Excellent location, close to everywhere, you can go walking to Notre dame, Louvre... Beautifull and quiet neighborhood with good places to eat and a supermarket a few blocks away.
The place is cozy with excellent wifi connection, fully and lovely equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice clean sheets. Great for your trip to Paris... Everything helped me to have a nice weekend. The price is fare, so I fully recommend it.
