This property is situated in the exclusive, quiet residential Crystal Lakes estate close to the neighbouring towns of Palmetto and Ellenton. It is situated 10 miles from Sarasota/Bradenton Airport and about 40 mins away from Tampa airport. The property backs onto a natural lake with an abundance of wildlife. It is 10 minutes from Ellenton Outlet Mall and 10/15 minutes from the exclusive University Parkway Mall. A massive new shopping mall is also due to open in Autumn 2013 between Bradenton and Sarasota. Busch Gardens, Tampa Zoo and Tampa Aquarium are also located some 30 minutes away.
We bought our villa is 2010 as the show home and it extends to an impressive 2800 sq feet of living area with an additional double garage. The property boasts an outdoor heated pool and separate hot tub which can be used all year round. The furniture throughout the villa is of the highest quality.
Downstairs comprises:- Hall, Dining Room, Kitchen, Living Area (all open plan), Toilet, Master Bedroom (with king size bed) with large ensuite containing bath tub, separate walk-in shower, two sinks and W.C. There is a 50' flat screen TV, DVD player and CD player in the Living Area and a 32' flat screen TV in the Master Bedroom.
Upstairs:- Bedroom with Queen bed and a further 2 bedrooms, each containing 2 single beds, 2 Bathrooms, Games Room with full sized air hockey table and games. Family Den equipped with sofa bed, coffee table,32' flat screen TV with games machine and computer table and chair and internet connection.
The villa can sleep 8 comfortably and benefits from 3.5 bathrooms. There is Internet and cable television, which is included in the rental price.
Important Note: Crystal Lakes is a private residential estate, predominantly owner occupied. We have a very good relationship with our neighbours, who live and work in the area, and respect their peace and privacy. For this reason, our property is best suited to mature guests and those young families who would not make excessive noise around the pool area after 9pm when our near neighbours may be resting. This does not, however, prevent respectful families enjoying the pool area and other amenities. This issue is very important to us, and the refundable deposit will be retained in the event of valid complaints from neighbours.
We are a family living in Scotland, and prior to buying this house, we have holidayed in Florida for numerous years. The house is jointly owned by us, the grandparents, our daughter and son in law and, of course, the kids. We, the grandparents, try to get over at least twice and year and the others once every year.

We fell in love with this show home when we first saw it in 2011 because it was situated in an exclusive, quiet estate and backed on to a lake with natural wildlife and because it was near the beautiful West Coast beaches, golf, shopping, sightseeing and not too far from the attractions. We have taken great care in furnishing our home to the highest standard.
In addition to having a lovely pool, we have a separate hot tub and it is sometimes difficult to persuade the kids to go out for the day and leave these facilities behind.
