Sarasota Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

*** SPECIAL NOTE. WEEK OF NOVEMBER 29TH - DECEMBER 6TH STILL OPEN. LAST AVAILABLE WEEK TO ESCAPE THE COLD UNTIL APRIL! INQUIRE NOW! ***

*** Newly remodeled historic property in the heart of Laurel Park, SARASOTA'S ONLY TRUE WALK-TO-DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD ***

Three Palms Bungalow (named for the three 75 foot Washingtonia palms in front) is an immaculately restored and updated 1925 wood bungalow in Laurel Park, one of Sarasota's oldest, most charming, and best located residential neighborhoods.

Step out the front door and you can WALK...not drive...in less than 10 minutes to ALL of the following: Downtown Main Street, Sarasota Bayfront Park and Marina Jacks (with available kayak, paddleboat, aqua cycle, sailboat, powerboat, and waverunner rentals), Burns Court Historic District (only 1 block away), dozens of restaurants, the Saturday downtown farmer's market, shopping, art galleries, spas and salons, the symphony, the opera, the downtown public library, the 12 court Payne Park tennis center, two movie theaters, Selby Botanical Gardens, Towles Court art district, Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, and much more. A little farther away, but still reachable by bike or a 10 minute drive are the shops and restaurants of St. Armand's Circle (3 miles) and the white quartz sands and clear blue waters of Lido Beach (3.5 miles) and Siesta Key Beach (7 miles). ***Note that Siesta Key was voted the #1 beach in the entire USA in 2011. It is only a 10-15 minute drive away and the parking is free!

The house retains all of its 1925 charm, but with many of today's modern amenities. It is a 982 square foot two bedroom/one bath wood bungalow, with 15 foot vaulted ceiling in the large living room. The kitchen has brand new Caesarstone countertops, all new appliances, a two seat countertop breakfast bar, and round four seat dining table surrounded by large sun filled windows. The all new spa inspired bathroom features subway tiled floors and walls and an all glass walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have queen size beds with new plush mattresses, nightstands, and reading chairs. The master bedroom includes french doors that open up to the private fenced in back yard with new 350 square foot brick paver patio. Other amenities include large screen HDTV with DVR and DVD player, wireless high speed internet, full size washer and dryer, and gas grill.

The Best!

What a treasure Three Palms Bungalow is! A beautiful, cozy, tastefully restored bungalow in a great neighborhood within walking distance to EVERYTHING! Fully equipped, meeting all our needs. A perfect place to call home. The owners Lisa and JD have thought of everything, and have made it so easy to enjoy a carefree vacation. We loved relaxing in their backyard or on the front porch after an active day of exploring the area. The owners are very responsive, and helpful. Just walk out the front door to dozens of restaurants, activities and cultural attractions. Our personal favourites were Matto Matto an authentic Italian restaurant at the end of street, and Walt's Fish Market... Sitting outside in the Tikki Bar was fun. Three Palms Bungalow is the ideal location, in a beautiful area, with tons of interesting things to see and do. Couldn't have been happier staying here.

Beautiful, Comfortable, Charming and Amazing Location!

  • 5 of 5
My 15yo son and I visited Sarasota for a week to catch up with friends in Sept 2014 and rented this absolutely charming bungalow in Downtown Sarasota. The house is SOOO pretty and located in the historic Laurel Park area in the downtown district. The house has EVERYTHING you could need for your stay; the beds are wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, water pressure and heat are fantastic, there is cable TV, wifi, DVD's and a really efficient washer and dryer. But the absolute best part of renting this stunning home is the location. You are minutes walk from beautiful boutique shops, a Wholefoods, great coffee and affordable elegant restaurants. Not to mention 10mins from the award winning Siesta Key beach and the gorgeous St Armands Circle. I was on my own quite a bit and I felt totally safe walking into the beautiful Downtown area. My son and I adored this house and hope to take my husband back to stay there in the future. Oh, and the communications with the owners were prompt, informative and easy. They went above and beyond, by providing us with oodles of incredible local knowledge and info on what to do and see in Sarasota. Cannot thank them enough for making our stay amazing.

SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE !

  • 5 of 5
If you are looking for a super-charming bungalow, completely restored with all the amenities you could ask for, this is it! This house is on a very quiet street, yet it’s an easy walk to downtown Sarasota’s Main Street shops and restaurants…. and even closer to Burn’s Court, location of Matto Matto, where we dined three times during our one week stay! The house was clean….clean….clean….and looked exactly like the pictures. The back yard was beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed our first cup of coffee out there every morning. I can’t say enough about this place, as it exceeded our expectations on every level. The owners of this lovely home were so thoughtful in preparation of and during our visit, making sure everything was to our liking and giving us many personal recommendations, as we were not too familiar with the area. At the end of each day, it was so nice coming back to a place that was so comfortable that it felt like coming home….and by the end of our trip, we were wishing it WAS our home! We will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Three palms Bungalow! We also enjoy the location....You can walk to EVERYTHING!
Many of our guests have also enjoyed grabbing a bite at "Matto Matto" 1/2 a block away. They have authentic Italian fare and wines by the glass!

Our stay at The Tree Palms Bungalow was Wonderful! We were impressed by how cute and clean it was. Very relaxing atmosphere and a nice backyard for a cooking out with a nice fence. Our beds were very comfortable with nice crisp sheets. We were visiting over the Fourth of July and were able to walk to the Bay Front park a few blocks to see the fireworks. The Kids really enjoyed the Mote Museum where they got to see Manatees and pet sting rays. My favorite of the trip was the Siesta Key Beach with white sand and clear blue water. We also visited Lido Beach where the kids found sharks teeth. We definitely will be back.

GREAT LOCATION , SO CUTE BUNGALOW

  • 5 of 5
Our retreat at Three Palms bungalow was absolutely great. The house is perfectly maintained, very clean, with a great sense of taste. Everything we needed was just there...even 2 brand new beach chairs. We enjoyed the backyard for our late diners and breakfasts. The location is great too: close to nice restaurants or coffees. We were walking distantce for our Happy hours at Chang or Matto Matto. Beaches are close too. This is the nicest district and perfect location to be at.
We highly recommend this bungalow. The owners are very easy and make things very simple.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the kind words! We're happy that you enjoyed your stay. Of the dozens of nearby places to go, the ones you mentioned are two of our favorites also. Both just moved into the neighborhood within the last year. For others reading this, Matto Matto is just down the block, and has a great wine selection, wonderful thin crust pizzas, and the gnocchi recipe of the owner's Italian grandmother. PF Chang's China Bistro is in locations across the United States and 13 countries worldwide. We're fortunate to have the Sarasota location two blocks away. The dining room is extremely popular and sometimes hard to get into. We recommend the early food and drink specials and the more casual atmosphere of the outside patio. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
