Reception:
The reception for the apartment is centrally located on Hagenstraße 19 (D-59955 Winterberg, Tel. +49 – (0) 2981 – 899 433) in the heart of the Winterberg old town. Barring holidays and Sundays, you can reach us between 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. You arrive and check-in here (please keep in mind that we accept Maestro Card, former EC card and cash payments). We will also hand over the key to the apartment. We will give you tips, advices and recommendations to make your holiday a success. We will gladly answer your queries, e.g. your questions regarding the hiking tours, about the region, give you recommendations, reserve tables in restaurants or help you book, e.g. a baby-sitter, who can care for your children in the apartment as per your wish.
Journey:
Winterberg is centrally located in Germany. You can reach us in less than two hours from the metropolitan regions of Nordrhein-Westfalen! By car: From the north: A7 Hamburg-Hannover- A2 Bielefeld - A33 Paderborn – exit Wünnenberg, travel towards Brilon Olsberg Winterberg! From the South: A5 Frankfurt-Giessen - exit Marburg, travel towards Allendorf/Winterberg! From the West: A44 Dortmund-Kassel - exit Kreuz Werl, travel towards A46 Arnsberg Meschede Bestwig Olsberg Winterberg! From the East: A44 Kassel-Dortmund - exit Zierenberg, travel towards B251 Korbach Medebach Winterberg! By train: the trains usually are the fastest and comfortable means with which you can reach Winterberg. For example, there is a connection every hour from Hagen, every 2 hours from Kassel. You can travel from Dortmund to Winterberg and vice versa in only 104 minutes. There are six trips on each working day or twelve trips on Saturday or Sunday.
Ski:
The carousel ski lift of the holiday paradise of Winterberg offers premium ski lifts for a smooth skiing operation.
The region offers the largest/biggest connection of skiing regions to the north of the Speyer line. You have a choice of 21 ski lifts: 1 six seater chair lift, 3 four seater chair lifts, 2 double seater chair lifts, 9 anchor lifts, 3 rope tows and 2 toboggan lifts. The lifts are operated between December to January from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in February as well as March.
Golf:
The golf course is located in the midst of an unspoilt natural landscape. The golfers enjoy an enchanting view of the southern mountains from various points on the 9-hole golf course. A natural watercourse intervenes with the game at several holes. The entire golf course is characterized by numerous sloping positions and a large number of trees.
