The Spazzavento Mansion is located on the renowned hills of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by woods, olive groves, and vineyards, a few minutes' drive from Firenze (Florence locality Scandicci), bordering on the environmentally protected area Poggio Valicaia. Plentiful opportunities for walking and hiking pass right by the mansion. The accommodations comprise the owners' residences and three comfortable, neat double-rooms inside which every detail is the result of attentive care. The Mansion sits in an area blessed by the marriage of culture and nature: you can enjoy relaxing walks along white country paths, long bike jaunts along vineyards and olive groves, bracing horseback riding and relishing the region's celebrated great wines, extra-virgin olive oil, meat, and cheese. Within 10 minutes you can reach the center of Florence where all needs for culture will be satisfied.

This particular building once was a farm’s wine cellar. The expansiveness of this building provides for a loft that occupies one half of the entire space and is accessed by means of a spiral staircase. The rest of the room retains the full-length walls and high ceiling, whose original wooden beams have been retained and restored. The entryway has a wrought-iron glass door that commands a wonderful view of the city of Firenze. Once inside the room the ambience of the divan bed, armchair and décor cannot but impress. On the left there is the colored bathroom and a comfortable laundry room equipped with a washing-machine. The spiral staircase leads to the loft, where a dinner area and fully equipped kitchenette are located. Unusual and charming is the site for the loft, built atop an old bakery oven. The living room connects to the luminous bedroom, equipped with satellite TV and wireless internet. All premises are air-conditioned.
