The holiday complex Golfe de Lozari, is ideal for families and lies directly on the long sandy beach of Lozari, just 8km from Belgodère. The buildings are scattered amongst the pine trees of the 25 hectare large grounds. The complex has a reception, restaurant, pizzeria (July and August), bar, launderette (fee applies), small supermarket, 2 tennis courts, volleyball court, boules pitch, mini golf, playground, table-tennis and table-soccer. Parking within the complex. In July-Aug. water sport base on the beach (e.g. Catamaran, windsurf, kajak, paddleboat - fee applies). Further sports nearby: in the bay of Ile Rousse is a protected underwater world which is suitable for diving. Further restaurants in Lozari, bars in Lozari and Belgodère; further services approx. 7km away. Important for children: please take particular care when bathing in the sea – the depth increases rapidly!!

Belgodère sits like an eagle’s nest on the fertile mountain range of Balagne, a region which is known as the “Garden of Corsica” or also as “The Saint”, due to its large number of religious buildings. The heights of the Balagne offer a fantastic opportunity to experience the rugged nature of Corsica, in particular along the hiking trail from Belgodère to Olmi Capella. In the mountain village, which looks across the valley of the river Reginu, there are many religious monuments to be explored: the chapel of St. Croix and St. Jean, the church of St. Thomas in the village square, the ruined abbey of Madunuccia and also the 19th Century palace Malaspina in which the town hall is now located. A fantastic panoramic view can be enjoyed from the rock “Tegghie”. Belgodère is also renowned for the wonderful sandy beach at Lozari. Excursions are possible to Calvi (approx. 24km), to the romantic village of St. Florent and to the bathing resort Ile Rousse.
