Ideally located on Florida's Gulf Coast just minutes from many of America’s best beaches. Our two apartments are situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Tarpon, just north of Clearwater in Palm Harbor. Relax and recharge by the pool and in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the waterfront environment. Tampa Airport is just 35 minutes away, with the major theme parks in Orlando only 90 minutes away. On your doorstep are an abundance of malls, restaurants, parks, golf courses, and endless activities for young or old. Lake Tarpon Villas is a modern, stylish, quiet, low-level apartment complex with direct access to seven-mile long Lake Tarpon (Florida's second largest lake) which is great for bass fishing and water skiing. The apartments look out onto water, boardwalks and boat docks. Our gas-grill-BBQ is on the decking right by the water. Stay with us, relax and recharge your batteries in a quiet and comfortable setting yet just minutes away you have all the activities you could ever want.

The 1-bedroom apartment is very spacious, has one bedroom with queen size bed and one bathroom (with bath and shower). The large sofa bed in the living room enables you to sleep four. The living room and dining area has a superb view of the water of Lake Tarpon lapping at the decking. The patio doors open out into the very large patio area with electric barbeque, which is screened off – an ideal spot for a drink at sunset. Outside the patio on the decking by the water is our gas-grill-BBQ. The apartment comes complete with all vital appliances and utensils together with Cable TV with over 80 channels, telephone with free local calls and computer with free high-speed Internet access. There is an open-air swimming pool (communal) with solar panels, Jacuzzi, sun loungers and picnic tables where you can relax alongside the boat docks and waterside. Next-door is a boatyard from which pontoon boats can be hired and docked adjacent to the apartment at our own private mooring.

Tarpon Springs is a renowned port just up the road, famous for its ethnic Greek community diving for sponges. You are within easy reach of Disney World, Epcot Centre, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Sea Life, and all the other attractions in Orlando. On your doorstep in Tampa, you have a theme park, Busch Gardens, famous for having the best roller coasters in Florida. Nearby are plenty of golf courses notably the world-famous Westin Innisbrook Resort.

A very comfortable accommodation

We have just spent a week at this apartment. It is part of a very nice residence with much wildlife right on your door step. The pool is lovely too, surrounded by palm trees and a very hot hot tub which I am sure is perfect for the cooler winter months!

The location is good with a choice of beaches and many restaurants too chose from. As with most of the states you do need to have a car to get around.

We had a good meal at Cody's Roadhouse just a couple of miles north on Highway 19, traditional american fare, it can get quite loud! But a that's all part of the experiance. The portions are big, and we would recommend the tossed side salad, all so large and refillable! Don'y be afraid to ask for a take out if you're on a budget. Everyone does it!

The best valuen healthy option has to be Sweet Tomatoes, eat as much as you like buffet. We went for lunch and the bill was under £11! $22.....I don't know how they do it.

Have a great holiday, if you don't like crouds avoid Clearwater Beach at the weekend!
