Convenient private holiday home directly at the beach of Las Cucharas in Costa Teguise. Whom is looking for a relaxing holiday not doing without the benefits of a nice holiday resort will be absolutely right here. Small, inviting bars and restaurants are directly nearby. The very beautiful, from César Manrique designed village Pueblo Marinero is just two minutes from your entrance door. You will be sitting under the biggest gum tree the island has, listening to Canarian folk music and eating typical tapas. Also there is a nice market twice a week there. If you are also looking for some night life you will reach the 'in-bars' within only five minutes walking distance. We have been putting many smaller and bigger details in your holiday home to make you feel as comfortable as possible during your stay here. Beginning with a hair dryer up to a bathrobe and from a music center until sun beds on your balcony.... Just bring your favourite music on an usb stick with you.

The holiday apartment Oasis de Las Cucharas II is situated on the first floor. Your balcony turns 100 % towards the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The balcony has a size of 9m² and you will find two sun beds, a table with four chairs as well as a barbecue on it. We also do provide cushions for the chairs and sun beds - but we ask for a little deposit for these. The apartment can be rented together with two other flats (Oasis de Las Cucharas II and III). In this case 6 people could conveniently stay just next to each other (or up to 12 people using the sofa beds in the living-rooms as well). The other apartments are situated just next and beneath so the ways between are very short. The part of the complex where our apartments are situated is a bit apart from the rest of the complex. So you won't hear any noise coming from the pool for example. In other words: if you like to see other people you can do so, if you don't you won't have to. In that case just enjoy your private home.

Compared to Puerto del Carmen you will notice a big difference in Costa Teguise: Thanks to a good planning there are no streets at the beaches. There is a promenade only for pedestrians; car traffic has been organized differently. The Costa Teguise clientele is looking for quietness and/or sports activities. It is also a well-know surfers paradise. Therefore you will find surf and diving schools in only 5 min. walking distance. The attractive Pueblo Marinero is just next to your holiday home and you will enjoy to just have a drink in those very nice bars there. Good - and reasonable - restaurant you will not miss either. If you are also looking for discovering Lanzarote with your own hired car you have a perfect starting point with Costa Teguise as well. Just a five minutes drive from your apartment you will reach the Golf resort. At the same distance you will find the Aqua Parc which is good fun with children for a day and we also recommend the new aquarium nearby.

  • In our holiday apartments we do always provide a great number of big and small towels. Weekly you can give back the used ones and will receive fresh ones. There is a coin washing machine on the plot. Clotheslines and clothes peg you will find in the apartment. Please remind while packing that we also do provide a big beach towel for each of you.

Notes: The internet access can be connected straight to your notebook via USB. Speed up to 7.2 MBit. The costs are 25.00 Euros/week or 80.00 Euros/monthly (flatrate). In the kitchen you will find a small oven; with adjustable temperature and baking tray. So suitable for all needs, only smaller than a normal oven. - A pizza easily entries. In the complex you will find a big pool with pool bar and children's pool as well. At the pool there are lots of sun beds and sun sheds - free of charge. In the next door complex you could also book breakfast and/or half or full board. In the evenings there is also a changing entertainment program. The pool is situated in a different part of the complex than your apartment, so you will absolutely not hear the noise from there. Also the entertainment program is far enough away not to realize it, but still near enough to take a glimpse. Smoking? - Yes, no problem. But please only on the balcony. Thanks a lot.

Just nearby you will find....: .... the Meson 'El Portón'. A very typical, spanish Tapas-Bar with very reasonable prices and rustic, unsophisticated atmosphere. After one or the other copa vino tinto (glass of red wine) you will appreciate to be back in your apartment just after a two minutes walk. You really should not miss it. .... on Friday evenings between 5:00 and 9:00 pm a nice, though little market in the Pueblo Marinero. Things offered there are similar to those at the big market on Sundays in Teguise but it is much more quiet, easier to grasp and not at all as pushy and obtrusivly. ... Just take a seat in one of the nice bars and watch the bustle.

Costa Teguise is....: .... an ideal starting point for island discovering tours .... a good place of being for Surfers and Divers .... much more quiet than e.g. Puerto del Carmen. You will find a very cultivated crowd here. ....still good night-life. Very good original spanish bars with international audience as well as any kind of disco-pub and live music.

Golf: You will reach the Costa Teguise Golf course in only five min. by car.

Wonderful Holiday

I stayed at this property in September/October 2008 and had a wonderful holiday. Susanne couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and it really felt like a home from home.
The property was very very clean and well maintained, Susanne had provided all the little extras that you wouldn't usually get on a self catering holiday... fresh fruit, fresh flowers, candles, even a bottle of wine. As well as the normal stuff you would expect, the kitchen had lots of little bits and pieces that were very useful, including lunch boxes so I could take lunches out with me (I saved a fortune), bottle opener, knives and a knife board plus oils and vinegars etc so I made my own tapas.
The bedroom and bathrooms were equally well equiped, but if I carry on then I will be here all day.
The only thing I would say is that it is better than the pictures.
I had such a great time that I am going again with a friend in April and my sister, her hubby and daughter have booked the apartment next door.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending that you book these properties.

Perfect for Us

I found this apartment by chance on the internet and was immediately impressed by it. The owners were very helpful and offered to pick us up from the airport at a cost cheaper than anywhere else.

When we arrived we were met with a warm welcome, our apartment was exactly as described and wonderful. We had everything we needed and would not hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone.

It is clean, comfortable, very chic and homely. We had flowers, fruit and the bath robes were a nice touch too. There was a nice pool at the complex and it is ideally situated. The view from the balcony is great and if you don't fancy a swim, you can just watch the windsurfers.

Costa Teguise is a very nice part of Lanzarote and we went at a quieter time of year (January). There are plenty of restaurants and bars on your doorstep, but you don't get disturbed by noise. We liked the Orient Express bar best, as cosy, chic and fab music and checkout the terrace.

Our favourite restaurants were Villa Toledo right on the seas edge about 10 minute walk along the coast and for something with a bit of an upmarket feel El Mastil at the complex Tahiche on a Saturday night (female pianist).

The South Tour is great and reasonably priced with or without lunch, visiting Timanfaya (National Park/Volcano). Walking along the beach and promenade is a must and so too is a visit to one of the villages or nearby towns (bus service very good).

Most comfortable apartment

This was our first experience of using an apartment for a quick winter week`s break to Lanzarote, as we usually book a Hotel. Susanne, the owner of the property, arranged for us to be picked up at the airport whch cut out the usual hassle of searching for a taxi. The apartment is set within a small aparthotel complex which has a nice pool, with loads of restaurants and bars adjacent. We found the apartment to be both comfortable and clean with beautiful views of the bay, and adjacent beach.
Unfortunately on our return home we discovered we had left quite a large sum of money in the apartment, however Susanne had discovered it when she was cleaning out the flat for the next group of holidaymakers (which proves how thoroughly she cleans the flat!) and arranged for it to be returned to us safely (which proves just how honest she is!)
I would most certainly recommend this flat.

Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung war sehr gut, es war alles vorhanden was der Mensch so braucht. Die Lage ist ruhig mit direktem Blick auf den herrlichen Sandstrand.
Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und gepflegt, sie ist gut ausge- stattet. Unsere Ankunft war durch den Vermieter gut vorbereitet,
wir wurden jeder Zeit zur vollsten Zufriedenheit Unterstützt und beraten, auch was die Auswahl an Reisezielen, Gastronomie oder Mietwagen betraf.
In der unmittelbaren Umgebung der Ferienwohnung befinden sich genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Gaststätten für jeden Geschmack und Geldbeutel.
Die Insel ist in ihrer Art einzigartig, sie bietet eine Unmenge an Sehenswürdigkeiten, Reisezielen und Attraktionen die man einfach erleben muß. Allerorts fanden wir gute Retaurants oder Bodegas mit köstlichen Gerichten. Die Einheimischen sind nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Insel Lanzarote und dieses Feriendomizil kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Sehr schöne, sehr gut ausgestattete, sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegene Wohnung.
Toller Balkon mit Strand- und Meeresblick.
Problemlose Anreise (inkl. Abholung), gute Tipps für Essen und Inselerkundung.
