Do you expect your holiday domicile to be comfortable like at home, to have enough space to feel comfortable and to have a large recreational offer directly in front of the house? If you do, you probably found what you were looking for. Because this and more awaits you in our holiday domicile. Our spacious house, a stylish stone construction, is located in the middle of the exclusive residence Vilaggio89 in Cuasso al Lago. The residence is located on a sunny terrace within a short distance from the lake. The view of Lago di Lugano or Lago di Ceresio, like the Italian's say, is unique. At the same time, the 'Parco del Campo dei Fiori' is nearby. It includes renowned historical sites - named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003 - and a unique relaxation area. The holiday domicile is a comfortable 4.5 room house with a sophisticated ambiance for 6 people. It has all amenities for impressive and relaxing holidays.

Cuasso al Lago is a holiday resort and is located on the Italian side of the Lago di Lugano directly across from Morcote and about 8km from the Swiss border. It is a city made for relaxing days and weeks. Tranquillity, Italianita and at the same time a large variety of recreational options form the best bases for a beautiful and diverse holiday. Good shopping facilities can be found nearby, either in the friendly village stores or the shopping centres nearby. The neighbouring city of Porto Ceresio, which is on the southern most point of Lake Lugano, invites you to stroll on the lake promenade with its typical Italian charm or you can go into the friendly street cafes for an espresso or Apero. Also for culinary delicacies, this region leaves no wishes unanswered and you can be pampered inexpensively. The Grotti on the shore on the Swiss and Italian lake side invites you to unwind.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Included in the rental price are all operating costs like electricity, gas, water, heat. Also included is the usage of the tennis courts. Not included is the garage and boat dock. There are parking spaces for free for your car.
    There is also a private beach available, which is ideal for fishing. You can go sun bathing in the nearby outdoor public pools with a lot of beautiful playgrounds.
  • Upon request we can offer a laundry service (bed sheets, mats/towels, dish rags) for €15 /person and change.
  • The final cleaning is mandatory and costs €30 as a base and €10 per person in addition to this.

Notes: The apartment is used by the owners and thus has high quality, proper furnishings. All devices and cleaning materials are present for your entertainment and cleaning (vacuum, broom, etc.). There is also a washing machine available and an ironing board and iron. A managing couple takes care of the apartment and offers more services (Chauffeur service, interpreter services, etc.). The managers speak Italian, German and English.

Housing unit: Through your own garden you will get from the park of the residence to the house entrance, similar to a cathedral, 5-meter tall rooms that are evident of the spacious and well-lit architecture of the house. 1/2 a floor higher than the entrance you will find the inviting living room with a dining corner and kitchen under an impressive gabled roof. This is furnished with all modern amenities (small bar counter, 4-plate stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine).

Patios: To the left and right of the living room you will find 2 patios (each 16 m²) as an extension to the living room during the many sunny days. One is equipped as an additional living/dining room with a grill (garden table with seats for 8 people), the other can be used as a protected room for sunbathing (bar counter, loungers). From the patios you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the lake and the typical villages on its shores.

Sleeping facilities: On the entrance level you will find a double room with a French bed, a kid's room with 2 single beds and a sanitary room with a shower, WC, bidet. 1/2 a floor lower you will find sleeping facilities for the parents in a large bedroom and a spacious master bedroom.

The condo was everything is was advertised to be. Contemporary, well-cared for interior and modern fixtures and appliances. Two balcony is spectacular with gorgeous view of Lake Lugano, free public beach within a 15 minute walk away. City of Porto Ceresio was only 20 minutes or so by car from Lugano on a very scenic drive and Menaggio on Lake Como was about 30 minutes in the opposite direction. Lake Lugano is a scenic gem by day and by night. Thank you to Oksana & Rene for looking after us so well. We will be back – hopefully for a special anniversary!
Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to family & friends.

What a wonderful villa

We wanted to thank you for having a wonderful villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would also like to pass on our thanks to the Manager Andrea and her husband for all the help they gave us. We managed to do everything we wanted to do which included Valle Verzasca & Maggia, markets in Luino, Monte Generoso, a tour of the lake and visit to Lugano as well as a day in Morcote just wandering around and eating good food.

What a wonderful villa and we will certainly tell all our friends about this great experience. If we get the chance we may return some day.

Die Ferien in der Villa Miralago haben uns sehr gefallen. Das Haus ist ja besonders gut ausgestattet und auch der Grill ist große Klasse.
Wir hatten herrliches Wetter, so dass wir vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag einen sehr schönen Urlaub erlebten.

Wir freuen uns, zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt wieder hier Urlaub zu machen.

Die Beschreibung und Fotos im Internet und die ergänzenden Angaben im Mietvertrag geben ein sehr gutes Bild des Ferienhauses. Trotzdem waren wir überrascht vom Komfort, der Großzügigkeit und der sensationellen Lage. Überrascht waren wir auch vom sehr angenehmen Preis.

The house exceeded our expectations. It was real stylish, in excellent condition and we have felt very well: great facilities, excellent location, stunning view and a friendly manager. It was a great holiday.
