Maggie Valley Cabin Rental Photos and Description
YFC's Outdoor Mission Camp has lodge available as well as cozy cabin for 6.
Above the town of Maggie Valley, neighboring Cataloochee Ranch and Ski area, OMC looks directly at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We have over half a million acres in our front yard. When camp is not running you are welcome to enjoy the beauty of OMC, rustic, yet comfortable, wild, yet serene. Elk wander through, as do plenty of other wildlife.
The Stables, our lodge, sleeps up to 30 in bunkbeds. Perfect for family reunions, retreats, and youth groups. Two bunk rooms, two baths, that accommodate multiple users. Bring your sleeping bags, or ask about using ours. A fully stocked, love-to-cook kitchen, with a dining area downstairs that transforms to a gameroom, meeting area or worship center.
Our wrap around porch gives you views of the national park ridge, places to eat, or quiet space for contemplation. Hike up to our prayer garden or a little farther to Rendezvous Rock. We can even outfit or guide you for a few days hiking the Appalachian Trail or
over to Tennessee.
With advanced notice we can lead your first rock climbing trip, teach you to roll a kayak, build your team on our challenge course, take you backpacking,or guide you on a white water raft trip. We love the history and natural history of Western North Carolina and are happy to share those with you. But what we love most, is our Creator and we also would love to share that with you or your group.
The Green House is a small one bedroom cozy cabin, built by our favorite old mountain wrangler. It's newly renovated inside, simple, yet comfy, fully stocked and ready for an intimate weekend in the mountains. All bedding provided at the Green House.
Nearby, you can enjoy the eclectic city of Asheville, the historic community in Cherokee, or even the quaint shopping in Waynesville. Cataloochee Ranch has riding and great meals. Of course in the winter skiing and tubing are popular and we have a great group rate (Beats the published groups rate). OMC even has a great sleddinghill when there is natural snow.
We are happy to cook for you with a bit of notice and have plenty of experience with both casual camp cooking and hosting fine dinners.

We love it, live right down the hill, hike the trails regularly and are blessed to live in such a gorgeous part of God's creation. Meet us, join us, or enjoy several days of solitude. either way we think you'll be blessed by spending some time at Outdoor Mission Camp.
We love the wilderness and The Smoky's in particular. The culture in the community is down-home, warm and neighborly. Many call these mountains home for 6 months of the year and others of us just can't seem to pull ourselves away.
