Seehausen is located on the North end of the biosphere reserve of Schorheide-Chorin, almost in the exact geographical centre of Uckermark, about half way between Berlin and Island Usedom resort (a good 100km from each). Uckermarck in itself is the northern corner of Brandenburg and is actually the biggest district in Germany (in the regard to the surface area) as well as the less inhabited. This means a lot of nature, a lot of space, a lot of peace and quiet!
