Our 'fisherman's house' is located on the island of Pag in a Mediterranean alley. Because it has a courtyard, up to 8 people can spend a beautiful summer evening outside. On two levels you will find 4 double rooms and on the ground floor is the recreation room with TV/satellite and the well equipped kitchen. It has a dishwasher/washing machine, microwave, gas range and electric stove. The beach is about 200 m from the house and all inns and shops are nearby. Thus, you do not need a car. You can rent one from us, separate parking spaces. You should look at attractions that can be easily reached with a car. The old city of Zadar, Plitvize, Krka waterfalls, one of the 100 islands that can be reached via ferry. The island of Pag is one of the largest and is very charming with its landscape during all seasons. The smaller cities invite you to relax. Pag is also famous for its feta cheese.

The city of Pag has an old historical city center. It has a Mediterranean flair and does not have any cars. There are different attractions like different churches, a monastery, salt fields for salt production, healing mud and the 5 star hotel Pagus with its wellness area (is accessible to all). There is a public beach with fine sand, but also a lot of lonely, small bays (some can be reached on foot, with the car or boat). The water is turquoise colored and clean. It is very interesting for divers, a diving school is in the city. Scooters and bikes can be rented during peak season. Outside of the season, it is an ideal place to rest and relax. Everything is on site for young and old. Inns with typical Pager specialties like the famous feta cheese or fresh lamb with a special taste. In the cathedral you can see concerts and art exhibitions are available during all times. You will see that Pag is worth a visit.

  • The bathroom is not the newest, but it has a new bathtub and tiles in the shower area. It is somewhat small for multiple people, but it is enough. There you will find the German washing machine. You can read the instruction manual. Cleaning agents and devices are stored there.

  • We have 4 double rooms, three of which have double beds and one has a French bed (also for two people). Each room has a cabinet and the bed sheets are included with a set change (always in the cabinet). Upon request, you can get more sets. Notes: On the ground floor of the fisherman's house you will find a kitchen, recreation room or dining room and bathroom/WC. In the dining room there is a cozy corner seat and the second refrigerator (because it can sometimes be tight with 8 people). With the TV/satellite, you can always be up-to-date with sports and news. The kitchen is equipped for 8 people. There are enough dishes, utensils and pots and pans available. Ventilation, microwave and mixer are included. The stove is electric and the cooking range is operated with gas. A dishwasher is there for 8 people. On the courtyard (enough chairs for at least 8 people), you can eat comfortably, you can transport the dishes through a window, which works as a pass-through. A large gas grill invites you to grill fish that you catch or buy in the city. In this alley, you can enjoy diverse contact with the locals.

Liebe Gastgeber,

unser Urlaub im Juni 09 war einfach toll. Sehr überrascht waren wir davon,
da es draussen sehr warm war (über 30 Grad) und im Haus immer
schön kühl. Das Problem mit der defekten Waschmaschine wurde innerhalb von 24 Stunden behoben, und alles andere entsprach Ihren Bildern und Ihrer Beschreibung.
Man hatte immer eine Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, die einen mit Tipps geben konnte (zum Beispiel welches Restaurant gut ist) etc.


Bisher ist uns der Abschied von keinem Urlaubsort so schwer gefallen
wie von dort. Auch Zadar ist ein Ausflug wert. Die Landschaft ist einfach unglaublich. Auch mit der deutschen Sprache ist es kein Problem und wenn man noch Englich kann, kann man sich dort sehr gut verständigen.
Alle Bewohner von Pag ist sehr freundlich und nett.
Einkaufen im Supermarkt auch kein Problem.

Auf Ihrem Bild der Promenade ist unter den Bäumen ein supertoller Kinderspielplatz, der so liebevoll gestaltet und angelegt ist, und dazu immer im Schatten und der jeden morgen gereignigt wird. So einen Spielplatz haben wir in Deutschlan noch nicht gesehen, der ist einfach wunderschön.

Wir waren mit 2 Hunden dort, auch mit unseren 2 "Stinkern" gab es keine Probleme.

Zum zweiten Mal waren wir um Pfingsten hier. Durch die vielen Schlafzimmer waren unsere Kids mit jeweiligen Freundinnen getrennt (sehr angenehm) und ein Besucher kam auch noch unter. Insoweit ist das Haus auch für Freundesgruppen interessant.
Ich bin immer noch von der Küche angetan mit Mikrowelle, Herd, Backofen, Spülmaschine und dann noch deutsches TV und Waschmaschine. Das ist mehr Luxus als wir sonst im Urlaub je hatten und lässt die Hausfrau entspannt lächeln ;-)
Diesmal waren wir sogar in Paklenica klettern und wandern (tolle Ecke, nur die Fahrt dauert fast eine Stunde). Auf Pag gibt es auch noch mehr tolle Strände.
Insgesamt kann ich das Haus nur weiter empfehlen.

Nix zu meckern....

Ein wirklich gemütliches und schönes Ferienhaus, die Beschreibung entspricht dem Objekt.
Wir haben uns dort wirklich wohlgefühlt und zum Meer kann man wirklich in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß gehen, die Promenade noch näher, trotzdem ist das Haus nachts absolut ruhig.
Wir waren mit befreundeter Familie dort und so waren es zusammen 5 Kinder, die naturgemäß etwas lauter werden können. Das war wohl so manchem Nachbar nicht ganz so recht, wogegen andere Nachbarn wiederum uns zu gegrilltem Fisch eingeladen haben.
Wer keine Berührungsängste hat, kann hier getrost hinfahren, es ist wirklich sehr schön. Vom Hof aus kann man direkt aufs Wasser gucken, es ist traumhaft. Der Strand ist Kiesstrand und das Wasser Ende Juni war um Längen wärmer als unser kleine Badesee vor Ort:)
Die Umgebung ist auch eine Reise wert und Geschichtliches zu gucken gibt es auch. Wir z.B. waren in Zadar (ist nicht so weit entfernt), die Stadt hat uns auch gut gefallen.
Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, wenn es zeitlich paßt;)
