The Country House of Andréa is situated in a tranquil, peaceful village in the Gard in the south of France. This magnificent house of character has a spacious interior offering peace and tranquillity. Far from the bustle of everyday life, this scenic idyll lets you enjoy life. Thanks to its layout this beautiful house is well appointed with lots of cosy corners. The garden contains lots of trees such as oak, olive, orange and lemon, as well as lavender, thyme and rosemary. The pool surroundings are beautifully laid out to allow lounging, games,convivial mealtimes and evening celebrations. The Bastide environment is full of places to visit in a very varied countryside. The owner is passionate about wines and you can view his cellars on request.   • Notes to the rental rates: Price includes electricity and water, cleaning at start and end of booking, bedlinen and towels, use of telephone and internet as well as the 4x4 Opel, fuel paid by user. Confirmed bookings : The booking is confirmed on receipt of 30 % of price by cheque or transfer. Remainder on receipt of keys. Breakages deposits : €500 cash for house keys, returned on departure. €500 cash for car keys, returned on departure. €1,500 cheque on arrival, returned on departure. * Cleaning before arrival and on departure is included. Extra cleaning and vacuuming on request at €15 per hour, minimum 2 hours. Complete house cleaning = 6 hours by 2 persons x €15 = €180. Maintenance of pool and garden (no noise) by proprietor on Wednesday mornings from 6 am. Catering hire on request for meals, parties etc. Please indicate in addition to booking.

Roman NÎMES, UZÈS and its duchy, Pont du Gard, Anduze and its bamboo fields, the steam train at Cévennes, the mediaeval village at Vézénobres, the Camargue, Aigues-Mortes and its ramparts. Activities : There’s lots to do near La Bastide d’Andréa: tennis, aquatic centre, pool, wave-baths, climbing, organised pedestrian walks, pony club, sea-side, mushroom picking around the Cévennes, aerodrome lessons, driving lessons on the Monteils circuit.
