In Febuary of 2014 I skied this mountain for my first time. I have been skiing since I was like 3yrs old. I had a dream to bring all my closest gal pals and a few of their hubbys on a ski trip of a life time. THIS Mountain and this HOUSE made it a reality. The owner was excellent and timely in my initial inquiries, helped me ensure I had the right number of proper sleeping arrangements for my guests. The comments below by others on the house decor are silly. The minimalist design yet very functional furniture and layout did not detract at all. The open kitchen to the lovely large table, the comfy wrap-around-soft... to the intimate seating over by the views of slopeside and the warmth from the fireplace. We had a lovely time in Brock's house. I hope to return one day again and highly recommend this property. Great ski in ski out, nice 3 master suites upstairs. Nicely stocked kitchen with good gadgetry. Thank you for the wonderful time. Only thing I would of changed--- was the hot tub water part way through the weekend... :)
This was the 3rd property we have tried in Slopeside and was definitely the best! Great location with a somewhat private patio with hot-tub. Ski in and out right to the lower door. Boot warmer just inside the door. The owner also did a great job of having the condo stocked with all the essentials we forgot at the store. The kids room downstairs was perfect for all the kids to sleep with no bed-sharing and to have their own bathrooom. This was a great family stay.
Where to start...do this price I would at least expect a coffee table in the sitting area and a night stand in the master bedroom and possibly one, jus one picture on the wall. Seriously, this place looks like an unfurnished apartment that they outfitted from Craigslist. The previous reviewers were either in a different dimension or ownership has changed and the current owners don't care about you, just your money. Stay away from this ine.
This place was awesome. Fit 16 people comfortably for sleeping, eating, and lounging after a long day. We definitely will be back for a winter boarding session.
A few things that were a bummer but didn't ruin our trip:
1. There was a leak in the downstairs bathroom, so we were down a bathroom for half our trip.
2. The spa was a bit dirty when we arrived so we had to wait a day for it to be cleaned and filled.
I would like to say though the contact person was incredibly quick to respond and extremely helpful when questions needed to be asked.
Thank you for such a great trip!
There is a cool obstacle course next to the home and I can't believe how close it was to the mountain. We were in whitefish the whole time for a wedding, but we rented a few cars and made it work about 10-15min down the road. Taxis and shuttles were available. About $60 with tip from glacier national airport and about $30 from town.
We just stayed at this place with 14 men for a little ski trip get away, before the mountain closed. This is an absolute perfect place for a big group. Has everything you could imagine, except for a BBQ which is why I gave 4 out of 5. If it had a BBQ, it would be a 5. Anyways, the kitchen is amazing, and the big eating space made it so enjoyable to eat together as a group. Unreal!
We were there for a ski trip with a large group - the place was perfect. The main floor is far larger than the pictures show with very high ceilings and tons of room for activities.
The bunk house was great as it sleep easily 10 people by itself, or 8 people if no-one shares a bed. All 3 rooms upstairs are ensuites and very comfortable.
The ski hill is incredibly close, with the lower lodge just a few hundred feet away from the back yard... you can ski literally from the door to the chairlift! And the hot tub apres ski was just what we needed.
