The apartment is located on Ashbury Heights, which is situated in one of finest neighborhoods in the city of San Francisco. Ashbury Heights sits on a mound overlooking the city called Buena Vista. It is directly surrounded by the Castro District, Haight Ashbury and Sunset District. It is within walking distance the Haight and Cole Street communities, with their wonderful restaurants and shops. It is within hiking distance of Golden Gate Park and University of California Medical Center. Golden Gate Park is World renowned for its museums, arboretum and Japanese Tea Garden. A car is not needed, since the apartment is within easy walking distance of bus lines and light rail. If you do have a car there is direct access to freeways leading to the east bay and the south bay. There is also non-metered parking through-out the neighborhood.

Eine gemütliche, helle kleine Wohnung in allerbester Lage, um diese tolle Stadt kennen zu lernen! Das Auto kann man stehen lassen (Parkplätze gibts aber genug). Sehr ruhig, nette Vermieter, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind super nah dran (Bus, Straßenbahn).
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen !

Geschmackvoll und optimal eingerichtete sehr ruhige Ferienwohnung.
Vom Frühstückstisch Blick über Golden Gate Park auf den Pazifik. Umgebung ideal auch für Leute, die gerne aufs Auto verzichten. ca 7 Min. Fußweg zum Golden Gate Park. Optimale Anbindung an alle Stadtteile mit Bus und Bahn. im 5-Minuten-Takt. Eine Vielzahl von guten und preiswerten Restaurants und Coffee-shops in der Nacbarschaft. Gastgeber sehr aufgeschlossen und hilfsbereit ohne sich aufzudrängen. Würde immer wieder dort logieren.

Gut eingeteilte helle Ferienwohnung im 3.Stock, Wohnküche und Wohnraum mit Fernseher gehen ineinander über; kleines abgetrenntes Schlafzimmer mit grossem Einbauschrank.gutes Bett.Lage : Ashbury Street:
sehr schöne alte Häuser mit einfallsreichen Vorgärten in der Umgebung - 5 min Gehweg zur Haightstreet , dem bunten,quirligen,interessanten Zentrum von Haight Ashbury.15 min Gehweg zum Golden Gate Park.
Einziges Manko : dunkler Zugang über den Keller mit extrem engem muffigem Treppenhaus.Bis zum Erreichen der Wohnung müssen 5 Schlösser überwunden werden.
Vermieter wohnt im Haus , aber mit ausreichender Distanz.
Bei Problem mit verstopftem Wc ( unsere Schuld ) sofortige kompetente freundliche Abhilfe - einsgesamt gutes Preis-Leistungverhältnis.Sehr empfehlenswert.
Owner's Response: Das Haus liegt in einer der besten Stadtteile San Franciscos - Ashbury Heights. Ebenfalls 5 Minuten Gehweg entfernt liegt Cole Street mit Restaurants und Geschaeften.
Das Treppenhaus ist zwar eng, jedoch nicht muffig wie oben beschrieben. Es ist im allgemeinen gut ventiliert.
