I am confident that this newly refurnished two bedroom, two bathroom town home will meet your expectations. You will find everything you need in a clean and modern setting that allows room for you and your party. Pretty much everything is brand new and I furnished it as our main residence without compromises. It offers optimal comfort & functionality to make sure that you enjoy your Whistler holidays to 200%!

No sneaky wide-angle used for the photos, what you see is what you get.

Located less than a 10 minute walk from the lifts, or a 2-minute ride on the FREE shuttle across the street to save your boots! Marketplace, Whistler's largest shopping area, is a pitch away with a BC liquor store, IGA, Starbucks, drug store and several nice little shops.

Three world-class golf courses are minutes from the complex. You will find the renown Whistler Racquet Club and the famous Wild Wood Bar & Bistro a few steps around the corner. The Valley Trail system passes in front of the complex allowing easy access to hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails, as well as the beautiful lakes.

The two level home features two decks with a private hot tub and a BBQ facing the mountains. You will wake up with mountain views! With new laminate floors, the generously sized living room and kitchen area are fully equipped for the comfort you need to enjoy unforgettable moments with your friends and family. The dining area is open with a gorgeous oak table that extends to seat four-eight diners.

Some of the highlights include a gas fireplace, a private high-end Beachcomber hot tub, a top notch 46' LCD Smart TV (with apps like Netflix, Skype, Facebook, YouTube and more...), a BOSE Wave music system with a CD/Radio/Bluetooth adapter, DVD/BluRay player, free high speed internet, cable and WIFI, XBOX 360 incl. games, phone with free local calls, air conditioning, beautiful wood blinds, luggage trays, indoor ski rack, boot dryer (happy feet equals a happy heart...), washer/dryer, dishwasher and a high-speed blender (YES!).

I know that mountain/sport equipment take up a lot of space, so I have maximized the available storage to make sure that everything fits comfortably. You will find large closets and smart drawers under the beds.

The master bedroom has direct access to the top deck and features a brand new queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a jetted massage bathtub and a separate shower. The second bedroom features a brand new local, custom made bunk bed with a queen bottom and a single top and mountain views. The physio approved queen mattresses are brand new and made from natural organic latex. If you are a large group or family, two people may have the pleasure to enjoy the sectional sofa bed. Pretty comfy for a sofa bed to be honest!

Both bathrooms offer cozy towels of all sizes, so no need to waste the space in your suitcase! I am happy to offer hotel sized samples of PAYA Organics wonderful soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Laundry detergent and dish-washing liquid is provided for your convenience.

Guests of Glacier's Reach also enjoy the access to an outdoor heated pool, shared hot tub, sauna, fitness center, underground secured parking and bike storage.

About Sylvain Celaire

I have been coming to Whistler for more than ten years for mountain biking and skiing. I was born in Provence, France (as my accent suggests...). After completing a master's degree in sports management I decided to settle down in Vancouver where I could fully live my passion for mountain biking and outdoor activities. I am currently working for a Canadian company organizing guided and self-guided bike trips worldwide.

Why Sylvain Celaire chose Whistler

For his whole life my granddad dreamed of a property in Canada to be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the country. Two generations later I had the chance to make his, and our, dream come true. Whistler is, so far, my favorite place on earth.

Everyday is a new adventure and going up the mountain is a great way to meet incredible people and explore the power of nature. I chose Glacier's Reach because it is the perfect combination of central location and tranquility.

What makes this townhome unique

I have seen my fair share of rentals in Whistler and I strive to make mine feel like home to anyone who enters. I have not saved on the bucks to make you feel comfortable and I have put great care and detail into the interior. The floor plan is one of the better of the vacation rentals and it feels light and airy. The condo is close to everything while keeping a calm and tranquil atmosphere that most people enjoy. Not to mention, a cold drink in your private hot tub, sharing the adventures of the day with a view of the mountains, is priceless.

Superb condo!

A group of friends decided to rent a place at Whistler for the weekend to have a mini vacation. The criteria was a convenient location, with ample parking, clean (my friend's a germaphobe), and must have a private hot tub. Sylvain's place met all the criteria and more! My friends couldn't get over how easy it was to find, how amazingly close it was to everything we need (we walked a few times to the IGA and the liquor store to stock up on food and libation). The shuttle that takes you right to the gondola came frequently and was just 2 minutes away - we all did it in ski boots, no problem. Parking was so easy with many visitor parkings if you're driving more than one car. We never did use the reserve spot (actually, we never figured out how to get past the locked gate but that was because we didn't bother trying very hard when there were 10-15 visitor parking spots available the whole weekend). There were 7 of us using the unit at one point and no one felt cramped. The hot tub was well used by everyone - how very spoiled of us to ski by day and hot tub by night - amazing! And the entire place passed my friend's cleanliness inspection - hardly could find a speck of dust! There were some wonderful touches like having a heated towel rack, xbox, spice rack, etc. It was really a home away from home!!

Enjoyed it completely!

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this location for our latest trip to Whistler. The space was great for both of us and would also work if we brought our son (next time). I think you could easily put a family of 4-5 in here and feel comfortable. The location was great, as was ease of access to the unit, hot tub, etc. It was also nice to have a full kitchen, separate full bathrooms and a fireplace (used every night).

I would only add 3 minor issues. One is that I couldn't get ESPN at all on the cable. The setup is ultra basic and while I know we all go to Whistler for the outdoor activities, there are times (after a long day or when my wife is getting ready), when I really want to watch my sports.

The second is the parking space. It is under the building and extremely tight to get into and out of, especially if there are other cars parked in the opposite spaces. We have a 2010 Toyota Highlander and were a very snug fit. If you have anything bigger, I'd see if there are other parking options. Something like a full-size SUV or pickup truck would not fit.

The third is the stairs in the unit. This wasn't evident from the ad, and was not an issue for us personally, but it could be for other folks. After entering, you have to climb a full floor of quite narrow and short (step depth) stairs. That could be really hard for kids, folks with bad joints, injuries, etc. It also made getting the suitcase upstairs an adventure. The stairs from the 2nd to 3rd floor were similar, though easier to negotiate. If you don't like stairs, please be aware of this.

We will stay here again though next time. This place was really good for us and Sylvain was super hospitable and responsive when we had questions.

AMAZING UNIT!!!! We will be back!

We have stayed at Glacier's Reach quite a few times and have always booked with a rental company. We decided to try something different and go with VRBO this time. This was such an easy process and Sylvain responded to emails very quickly. When we arrived the unit exceeded our expectations. This was by far the cleanest and well taken care of unit that we have ever stayed in. There was instructions for everything including the hot tub, as well as a map of Whistler Village. The unit is basically across the street from the beginning of the Village stroll. We will definitely be back and will definitely be staying at this unit.

Great time

We stayed from Aug 5 - 8th and had a fabulous time!
The town house is in a perfect location, out of the busy loud night life but close enough if you want to part take in it.
Rooms were great, my 5yr old now wants the same bunk bed and I want the same bed in the master bedroom! (where is the bunk from???)
Kitchen had everything we needed and enough dishes and cutlery for when we had my in-laws and sister stop by for dinner.
We will be staying here again in the future!!

Beautifully decorated townhome and location was perfect!

This lovely home was the perfect getaway for two couples and a 12 year old boy last weekend. Easy to find, close to the village stroll (main area in the village), but not too close so we didn't have to listen to any drunken shenanigans pouring out of the bars and clubs at night. It was nice and quiet in the evenings, but we were still so close to the action we could go check it out if we wanted to. The boys walked to the Gondola in the mornings for snowboarding, and the girls (and son) walked to the trails at Lost Lake for a lovely walk/hike, and in the evenings the fully equipped kitchen came in handy for making meals.
The view from the top deck is beautiful; the hot tub is clean and in good shape, and the townhome is well maintained and beautifully decorated. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!
