Tie your shoes for a hike into the marvellous low mountain range between forest, water & vineyards. Who likes to do some sports, can go by boat, water ski, fishing or go for a swimming in an indoor or outdoor pool. For sports on land you will find in our garden: table tennis, wall bars, exercise bike & fitness ball. For quiet days we offer plenty of reading or simply relaxing on the terrace with high quality, solid seating & loungers in the house & garden. The apartment is completely equipped with dishwasher, microwave, beds for elderly people (ca. 50 cm sitting height) bed head & end adjustable, hygienically washable duvets, cot, cable TV. Self-catering. Rolls delivery service. If you arrive by train, we will pick you up from the train station!

From the motorway Frankfurt, exit Hösbach, B 27 until Lohr direction Schönau, continue like above. From the motorway Kassel exit Hammelburg, B 27 Gemünden, continue like above.

Had a lovely week in this apartment,roswitha and josef were the perfect hosts.Roswitha was a mine of information,she knew the answer to every question and she spoke much more english than we had been led to believe.A beautiful sitting out area and a lovely garden to use.

I would like to say, that i was staying in the "Haus am Wald" from 30.6.2012 to 7.7.2012, with my wife and friends, 4 people, from 40 to 50 years old. We found there very friendly atmosphere.
The owner provided very good customer service.
The listing description was accurate, the property was clean.
I would like to recommend this property to family with child, to a friend, to young and to old people.
We had there very nice days during our holiday.

Enoyable Stay

We had a lovely time in this appartment, staying at the end of October 2010. The tea and cake waiting for us when we arrived was lovely. The appartment was a very reasonable price - we had access to a computer and this only cost 5 euros for the week (charge 1 euro for 30 mins). This would be very useful for anyone travelling without their own lap-top. Electric was 30 euros and the weather was cold so we used the heating quite a bit. The appartment was one of the cleanest that we have stayed in.
Roswitha Schipper was very welcoming, and although she says she only speaks German her English is really quite good. She is very helpful.
The appartment is in a part of Germany we had not been to before and we really enjoyed exploring this beautiful part of the world. We look forward to visiting again and would definitely use this appartment.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing
