Just back !

We've just got back from staying here, we loved it and my 2 year old daughter loved the heated pool !
The villa is probably one of the best equipped we've stayed in. It's very roomy, AC works well, new washer and dryer, just as you'd expect if you lived there, a real home from home. The area is quiet, most of the surrounding homes are residential.
There's a small Mall area with some shops, restaurants and a Publix about a mile away so within easy walking distance but better to drive as sometimes there are sidewalks sometimes not. There's a Walmart out on the road to Naples, it's bigger and cheaper and more selection than the local Publix.
There's a visitors centre where the ladies in there are more than happy to chat about the best places to eat, visit etc.
Tigertail beach is great and only a few miles away, ideal for small children as it slopes away gradually and is quite shallow, sand is white and very fine, there's an $8 charge for parking your car, if you want to hire 2 chairs and a wind break on the beach it is $24 per day ! Make use of the umbrella in the box by the pool in the villa ... it's cheaper!
Naples is not too far away, some nice places to browse and shop, or take lunch and watch the world go by, but the beach there is small and quite disappointing, I'm glad we chose Marco Island.
Loved the area, people are very friendly (especially Ingrid and Bruno), if you want to relax and chill out this is it, it really is a very nice place to stay.
