Vienna is a great destination at all seasons. There is always a lot you can do: go and visit the historical places as the Ring Boulevard with the Vienna Opera House, the Parliament, National Theatre, Vienna University among others, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Spanish Riding School, Belvedere Palace, Schönbrunn Palace. Visit one of the numerous museums, theatres and concert houses. Go to look for the modern Vienna with its manifold offers. If you want to relax there are many parks and green areas. Make an excursion to the Wienerwald for a walk or a hiking tour. If you stay here longer go for an excursion to Klosterneuburg, Gumpoldskirchen, Neusiedler See or Carnuntum. A trip to Bratislava by ship or train might also be interesting for you. By public transport you can go everywhere you like.

Hop on tram 1 at Kliebergasse (stop 50 meters from the apartment)! Go through Wiedner Hauptstraße, Karlsplatz to the Ring Boulevard. Pass the Ring with its historical places as Opera House, Burggarten, the big museums (Museum of Historical Art and Museum of Historic Nature), Heldentor, Parliament, Rathaus, National Theatre, University, Votivkirche ... Then, after a short route beside the Danube channel you arrive at Schwedenplatz. Now you hop off, buy yourself a tasty ice cream in one of the best ice cream parlours of Vienna, and in a relaxed walk go back through the first district (old town) to the opera or you stay in tram and go to Prater. In the area of the Green Prater you can go for a walk and enjoy the green meadows, ponds and hiking paths or you to the Wurstelprater (amusement park) and have your fun. For this great sightseeing tour you need only a normal tram ticket and your touring guide. (Don't go during the rush hour!)

Vienna has got a very good public transport system. With tram, bus and subway you can go everywhere. Intervals are short and in maximum half an hour almost every interesting sight can be reached.
