The quiet and elegant apartment is 50 sqm large, very bright and beautiful, has recently been completely, high quality, lovingly restored. We have them for two persons, with extendable sofa bed can also find 3 people comfortably. All furniture is new, and create a pleasant atmosphere between modernity and the charm of an old house with original, restored stucco elements. The spacious living room, which also serves as a bedroom, is also with a large couch and a comfortable, colonial-style bed (180 x 200 cm). From the living room has a beautiful view of old maple trees and walkable balcony. For entertainment, there is a DVD, TV, radio, books, games and free WLAN available. The large kitchen is fully equipped with Ceranherd, oven, dishwasher, steam vent, water heater, coffee maker, toaster & crockery. Bathroom with shower. Other apartments available on request!

Nearest Airport : Berlin Schönefeld (SFX) at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Train : station S-Karlshorst at 1 Kilometres

The over one hundred years Karlshorst with its villas and country houses since the beginning of the last century on the sought-after residential areas in the southeast of Berlin. Of the still-existing buildings, two-thirds from 1894 to 1908 established. The quiet city apartment is conveniently located within walking proximity of the S-Bahn station Karlshorst and the Tierpark Berlin. The Alexander Platz in Berlin, and other attractions such as Potsdamer Platz and Hackescher Markt is easily reached by train or car in less than 25 minutes. A bus stop is located a few meters before the entrance. The bus goes directly to, inter alia, the S-Bahn station Nöldnerplatz. As a special amenity is the bakery on the opposite side of the road is recommended. Other shopping opportunities, as well as several restaurants are also within a few hundred meters away.

a great berlin experience

one of the most well equipped,and cleanest apartments we had ever stayed in.beautifully decorated and located in an old east berlin neighborhood away from the tourist crush but easily attainable, accessed by one of the best city transportation systems in the world.a little touch of "the other" berlin in a quaint residential area with local bakeries,grocery stores, and small restaurants.the irony was that our old east german friends stayed in a glitzy expensive boutique hotel in west berlin and came to visit us at our local apartment and loved it.the young owners are very pleasant and likeable and provide you with all the tourist info that you may need.all and all a real berlin experience,living like the natives.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

A really nice stay

My wife and I had a nice 5-night stay in this charming apartment in Berlin this past weekend.

The apartment is fully appointed with a TV, equipped kitchen (no microwave unfortunately), comfy bed, and a nice hot shower to wake up in the morning.

As a nice touch, Volkmar picked us up at the Schonefeld airport and even left a bottle of sekt (German bubbly wine) in the fridge for us.

Nothing negative to point out. Very beautiful appartment, charming neighbourhood, very close to the S-Bahn Station and very kind tenant.
