Comfortable holiday home on a large property, renovated in 2007. The house is very light and the living space is on 2 floors. On the ground floor you will find a living room with a Christmas tree, a romantic dining room with a cozy bench and access to the sun terrace, a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with bathtub and a separate WC. On the first floor you will find 4 bedrooms and another WC. In the outdoor area you will find a large, wind-protected, partially secluded sun terrace and a large lawn. Garden furniture is provided for 6 people. The tram is one minute away, shopping facilities (REWE, butcher, VR Bank, Sparkasse) can be reached in 3-5 minutes and the Starnberger See in a 20 minute walk. Smoking and pets are not allowed. Upon booking our holiday home, you will receive many discounts (see additional site). ***Garden of Eden object

Cross country skiing: With adequate snow conditions, the cross country trail is made on Deixlfurther See (12 km). Slopes 5 km from the holiday home.

Tennis: At TSV Feldafing you can receive a discount for renting the court.

Boating: We recommend excursions with an electric boat. You can rent one by Goetzke in Feldafing or Gabi Wenzel in Starnberg.

The holiday home is in Feldafing, the pearl on Starnberger See in the middle of the five-lake-land between Munich in the north and Garmisch Partenkirchen in the south with the highest mountain, the Zugspitze. The house is ideal for excursions without a car. You can directly get on the tram and drive to Munich to go shopping or visit museums. If you prefer to enjoy the nature, drive to Tutzing and get into the fast train towards Garmisch, this will offer you the nearby hiking regions. If you prefer going by car, you can visit the outdoor museum Glentleiten in Kochel and maybe then go to the wellness spa with sauna facilities at Trimini.

Other Activities: Cross country skiing

Golf: Golf club Feldafing directly on the lake. As a guest to our holiday home, you only pay half price for the driving range. Other golf courses are in Deixelfurth and Hadorf.

Ski: The closest winter sport regions for skiers are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Lenggries and in the Christlum on Achensee. Drive about 1-1.5 hours.

Antique parquet floors, Persian carpets in the living room, tiles and high-quality laminate flooring, wooden ceilings, the romantic dining room is in a Sissi style and lovely decorated with the gallery of beauties from King Ludwig 1 and images of Munich as it once was. Spacious kitchen with large variety of cooking and dining utensils, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, water cooker, toaster, hand mixer and hand blender. Towels and bedsheets are provided once, can be changed for a fee.

Germany is beautiful!

This holiday home was perfect for our family on our first trip to the beautiful country of Germany. This was the trip of a lifetime for us and our hosts made us feel right at home. The pictures on the website gave a very accurate impression of the home and everything was very clean and well-maintained. A new front walk had just been installed before we arrived. It was so convenient to have our breakfast here and then use our rental car to take day trips each day for a week. We visited destinations in Bavaria that were 1 - 2 hours away and returned at night to enjoy a late evening in our holiday home after driving to the next village most nights for a delicious gelato. Claudia, the homeowner, communicated with us by email and answered our many questions. One thing that might be helpful for guests like us who speak mostly English would be labels and instructions for the inside and outside garbage cans in English as well as German. It is wonderful that recycling is so widespread in Germany and we hoped we were placing everything in its correct container. Thank you for helping us have such an amazing vacation in Bavaria!













































. Twice we took the train into Munich - the train stop was conveniently located nearby. Our daughter will be studying in Munich for the summer and it is a most interesting city to visit!

I cannot say enough good things about this home. As another reviewer said, it really does feel like a second home. The home was spacious and beautifully taken care of. Not only was it clean and functional, but several of the bedrooms had full length wall closets, the book shelves on the first floor were surrounded by ornate wood carvings, and don't even get me started on how much I love the first floor bathroom. In essence, it was above and beyond my expectations.

It's location is absolutely perfect! It sits in a quiet town, but is a minute and a half walk from the S Bahn. From there you can get to Munich in half an hour and several other cities that are a must vista are not much further. Not to mention that there is a grocery store just 5 minutes (walking) away. We did rent a car while there and the roads nearby got us a bit turned around each day so I recommend a gps if you aren't familiar with the area.

I spent Christmas holiday there with my boyfriend and his family, and although it was in the middle of a cold winter, the house was a little bright piece of warmth after each of our daily adventures. I can imagine the home is beautiful in the Springtime. When we initially started looking for a place to stay, nearly everything in Bavaria was booked, but I am so glad we stumbled upon this charming home in Feldafing. I cannot imagine a better stay.

Personally, I did not intact much with Claudia, but the one email I sent to her was responded to very quickly and helpfully. She even made an effort during our visit to come over and meet us. I'd definitely recommend working with her.

Feels like home

As this was our second time staying at Claudia's holiday home, we felt like we were coming home as we returned this year. Everything is what we were expecting including the warm hospitality displayed by the home owner.

The home has everything one needs for their stay inside the home, and out. The home is well equipped and maintained. The patio is fantastic overlooking the trees, and well cared for garden. The location is excellent within a short walk to the train station with a regional train every 20 minutes. Munich is around 35 minutes away, and other towns just a stop or two away from Feldafing. For two years now we rented a car, however we used it so little both years as everywhere we needed to go, we took the trains or buses. We even managed to get to Andechs by transit.

Within walking distance you will find your basic necessities, a few restaurants, banks, bakery, grocery and drug store. the lake and its recreational amenities can be found within a short hike.

Overall, we find this home to be excellent and we will be staying here the next time we visit the Munich area.
