Situated in a quiet residential street away from the town centre, but allowing quick access to local and surrounding amenities, the property was clean and well maintained. The accommodation was light and airy with fly-screens to all windows with additional air-conditioning in the bedroom if required. The property was accessed from a private entrance, had its own private patio and there was adequate parking available.The owner who lives upstairs was helpful and informative, yet unobtrusive, allowing a feeling of complete relaxation as if in one's own home.

This was a very relaxing destination. We have spent many trips to Kailua and found this to be close to shopping and only a 15 min walk to the beach. The view was enjoyable with all the lovely flowers in the garden and the sweet sound of birds singing. It is easy access to main streets to head to Kailua Town for the Farmers Market and wonderful restaurants The "off street" parking makes it very secure..

Spent 11 days in Jan at the guesthouse - enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean & well kept as the pictures & description and included everything we needed. Appreciated the washer & dryer because of the length of our stay. Carol was extremely helpful with directions, travel hints, etc. It was a quiet, residential area - were able to walk to grocery & restaurants as well as a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone coming to Oahu.

Comfortable, Quite Place to Stay

We enjoyed staying in this apartment for two weeks. It had everything we needed for the kitchen and bedding supplies. Our kids stayed on the futon in the living room. The extra space was nice--so much better than a hotel room. Plus, the small yard was nice with flowering bushes. It was quite--so much better than noisy Honolulu from past experiences. The ceiling fan was helpful as it was warm in August. We used the bedroom a/c a little. Carol was quick to address anything we needed and made sure we were oriented to basics of the town and getting around. It was around 20-25 min. to Honolulu with beautiful drives either along the east coast or on H-3. We also visited the north shore. It is a nice alternative to busy Honolulu with great highways to get you to Honolulu to see the sights.

We are very pleased with the apartment for our 6 nights stay. The place was very clean and the sheets smelled good ... Close to beaches and shopping, the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We could, in the morning, have lunch on the patio and enjoy the weather, it was very pleasant. Carol, the owner is very friendly and helpful, for all these reasons we recommend this apartment.
