This home was built for James A. Turner, the founder of National Welders in Charlotte, NC. It was built as a place to 'getaway'. Mr. Turner passed away in 1998, and his family now allows others to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
This tradtionally built home is deceiving from the outside. It is quite spacious and the many skylights flood the interior with natural light and give it a warm, welcoming feeling. The decor is very comfortable and inviting. The greatest attraction is the almost panoramic view of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. You can spend countless hours relaxing on the deck, and watch the clouds drift over the range that stretches out for miles.
