Our large,west facing balcony overlooks our walled communal garden&pools

A very pleasant,nicely furnished one bedroom apartment on the third floor (served by two lifts) of Palm Beach Aparments which are on the frontline in Los Boliches, Fuengirola.Our balcony gets the sun from mid/late morning till dusk. The bathroom is en suite with a full size bath( shower over),handbasin and w.c. The lounge has a two seater leather settee and a new high quality Danish three seater sofabed, a sideboard, coffee table, dining table & 4 chairs,wall-mounted flat screen 26' Sony TV which receives euro cable with multiple English channels and some continental channels,a radio/CD player,and two electric fans.Wifi access available as an optional extra payable locally.(Winter heating is by an electric radiator.The new kitchen area has a breakfast bar with 2 stools,a 4 ring ceramic hob, a microwave, a small oven and grill, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, hair-dryer, iron,and ironing board.There is a Bosch automatic washing machine.. The bedroom has two single beds with luxury memory foam mattresses, chest of drawers with wall mirror above, two bedside chests of drawers with bedside lamps,and a fitted wardrobe. Palm Beach has two security guards.There is a good supermarket within the Palm Beach building and several other supermarkets very close by,as well as a chemist shop close by. The blue flag beach is just across the Paseo, and the 5 mile flat stretch of the promenade is very popular with walkers. The pools include an attractive water cascade feature;the garden area is illuminated at night and the security door to the garden is locked at 9pm.

Access to the apartment on arrival: You can have access to the apartment on the day of arrival after 2pm. On departure day the apartment must be vacated by 10am.

There is a very useful mini market in the Ronda 4 building next door to Palm Beach, open till 8 pm (not on Sundays). There is a security guard at the Palm Beach apartments. There is also a very good supermarket in the front of the Palm Beach building itself.

Keys will be posted to you by recorded delivery two weeks before your holiday begins so you will have the keys with you when you arrive. When you return home you must send the keys back to us promptly by recorded delivery.

The beach is across the road: The beach and sea are across the street from the Palm Beach apartments and is of blue flag quality.

There is also an enclosed, secure, landscaped garden for sunbathing. There are three pools in the gardens, one of which is a toddler's pool, and a water cascade . There are numerous golf courses within driving distance. Malaga airport is 20 minutes drive away by car. There is also a regular train service to and from Malaga airport direct to Los Boliches train station (runs till late evening) it runs every 20 minutes and is easily accessed just outside the airport arrivals hall.

There is a very nice department store with excellent food hall, called El Cortes Ingles, opposite the train station at Los Boliches. There are plenty of banks and ATM machines nearby and an English church st. Andrews, in Los Boliches.

From Fuengirola bus station there are frequent buses to the picturesque village of Mijas. Also frequent buses to Marbella. Buses also run to Torremolinos, Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar, Seville ,Coin etc.

We are a retired professional couple from Wales.We first visited Fuengirola in 1997 and have enjoyed family holidays there ever since. We live in the U.K and our four children are now grown up so we have more time to come out and enjoy the sunshine ..

We particularly liked the Palm Beach apartments because of their location on the frontline in Los Boliches and because of the private,enclosed garden and pools.

LOVELY APARTMENT IN LOVELY BLOCK IN IDEAL LOCATION

This was our second visit to this apartment and in an ideal location for a lovely relaxing holiday. The apartment is well equipped and furnished lovely throughout. There is a supermarket under the apartment block which is very good, with a wide range of goods. The apartments are very peaceful with a lovely swmming pool area which you can sit around, also if you want to go to the beach it couldnt be nearer. Just cross the road onto the paseo(promenade) and your on the beach. This area is also ideal for people with walking or breathing disabilities as the area is very flat with plenty of seats to rest and suitable for wheelchairs. Access to the appartments is also wheelchair accesssable with reliable lifts. There are bars and restaurants nearby which serve lovely food. All in all I feel the makings of a lovely holiday.

LOVELY CLEAN APARTMENT

I stayed at this apartment with my partner and child, And we all loved it as it was lovely and clean and had every thing that we needed for our stay.
Palm beach has its own pool and is right on the beach.
There lots of bars around that you can eat out if you want to.
There are shops that sell most thing if you want to stay in the apartment and eat which we done on a few nights.
We found dealing with John and Elaine easy and were at the end of the phone if need be.

Palm Beach is 2 minutes walk to bus stop to Fuengirola, the urban bus returning from Fuengirola stops at the rear of Palm Beach. It is about 5 mins walk to Los Boliches train station taking you to Malaga airport, Benalmadena, Malaga Renfe station and Malaga shopping central area etc. as well as Fuengirola itself (one stop).The train now runs every 20 minutes. Palm Beach is on the promenade in Los Boliches (the quieter end of Fuengirola). There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. There are lovely coastal views from the promenade. Beach,sea and promenade are just across the small road with plenty of pedestrian crossings on it.

Please inform us if you will be requiring the car parking facility as the gates are operated by a remote control key for which you will pay a returnable deposit (40 Euros) locally.
