The Kitchen/Great room is very well appointed and is an ideal gathering place. The kitchen has a eat up bar with four stools, ample high grade cookware, flatware, dinnerware etc.., double oven, microwave, and gas cooktop. You will find most everything you need to cook up a feast.
The great room is where we spend most of our time as it boasts a large sectional sofa, 60' LED flat screen, and plenty of books/board games for those relaxing evenings. The livingroom is another great comfortable gathering spot with a gas fireplace and ample seating for enteraining. The LR, kitchen, pool area, and Master Suite all have in-ceiling speakers and seperate volume. controls.
The spa-like pool area has an inground spa which spills over into the vanishing edge pool. There are ample chaise lounges, outdoor dining table, firepit seating, and sectional outdoor couch.
There is a seperate laundry room off the 3 large garage.

Over the last 17 years we have always vacationed in La Quinta at least once a year and often times more frequently. We have stayed at the LQ Resort and also rented homes in many of the other communities ranging from Rancho LA Quinta, to Legacy VIllas. However, it was not until a friend invited us to their home in Lake La Quinta that we discovered this special spot. We had never seriously considered buying a home in the desert until we experienced the lifestyle at lake La Quinta first hand. It is truly intoxicating and hooked us immediately.There is nothing more enjoyable than sitting in the spa sipping a glass of wine watching the sun reflect and the colors morph against the Chocolate Mountain range.
We are of course biased...However, for us, lake La Quinta is the ultimate community in the ultimate desert town. We have always understood why La Quinta is named the 'Gem of the Desert' and for us, Lake la Quinta is 'The Gem' of all of La Quinta.
