Seven Iron House is a Seven-Iron shot from Laurel Ridge Country Club Golf Course, located in Waynesville, NC.
A two bedroom private home, with one queen bed and one twin bed and one full bathroom, Seven Iron has both a front porch and back deck from which guests can enjoy the surrounding one acre lawn and mountain views.
Get ready to wave. As you sit on the front porch at the private Seven Iron House, the occasional passersby are oftentimes in golf carts, just having come from a round of golf at Laurel Ridge Country Club. You may want to play a round yourself or walk to lunch or dinner at Laurel Ridge’s restaurant. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the flat lawn and distant mountain views. The quiet murmur of a nearby branch can be heard from the front porch but that’s only if you’re very still. You have found your quiet place.
If a visit to town among the locals is what you wish, Seven Iron House affords all the conveniences Waynesville has to offer: shops, restaurants, brewpubs, coffeehouses, a bookstore and a bakery are under five miles away. Keep smiling and you’ll blend right in. This is your town!

Meet the proprietor:
Ginny Boyer was born among North Carolina gentility and Connecticut rascals so she gets along with just about everyone, which helps in her employment as Administrative Assistant for the Town of Waynesville serving as Secretary for both the Historic Preservation Commission and the Public Arts Commission.
Ginny Boyer purchased this house in 1998
This is great little spot, very close to town and simple for guests to enjoy.
Children will love the home's large yard. Parents can relax and let the kids roam the open one acre yard, play yard games and enjoy the being together.
Whether its for a wedding, family gathering or just another get-away weekend come and enjoy Seven Iron House.
Great home in a wonderful mountain town. We enjoyed day hikes in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and wonderful restaurants in Waynesville. The house had everything we would need--toiletries in case we forgot something, extra sheets, spices, pots & pans, etc. When we arrived Ginny had even left some pastries for us from a local bakery on the table. Would stay again.
What a great getaway! Awesome location and Ginny made sure there was nothing else you could possibly need! Even a potato peeler! Lol. If your looking to take in the beautiful town of Waynesville and the Blue ridge area then this is the perfect house and spot. And if you get a chance to meet the owner Ginny you will see why your stay is guaranteed to be great! She made sure we had the best time ever and went out of her way to help us get acquainted with the area. We will suggest her vacation homes to everyone we know.
We stayed at Seven Iron two weeks ago and found it to be the perfect space for our family. It was in a perfect location. I was in the area for a conference at Lake Junaluska. I usually always stay at LJ but couldn't get space this year. Seven Iron was better than staying at LJ. We were super close to LJ and Waynesville as well as Panacea (our favorite). Clean house, fully stocked. Loved that linens and towels were provided. Bonus. My girls loved the side yard to play in and hearing the creek run was great. We weren't sure of check-out procedures but if there weren't any than that was another bonus! Also, having soap from Hazelwood in your bath enticed me to stop by and purchase -- and I did. Smart! Hope we will go back next year when I am there for my conference.
