This incredibly spacious and contemporary beachfront 6th floor unit (unit 613) is perfect for a luxurious and relaxing vacation and will be completely redone as of January 1, 2014. Boasting world-class views of the Gulf of Mexico while providing all the comforts of home, this unit will set the stage for an unforgettable stay.

This unit (which sleeps 5) features two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The fully-serviced renovated kitchen is equipped with corian countertops and new appliances and cabinetry. The open-concept dining area (which seats 6) and fully furnished living space leads directly onto the lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The entire unit features new flooring.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size be. The walk-in closet leads to the full private bath, completely redone with new tiling, expansive shower and granite countertop. The spacious second bedroom also has a similarly renovated private bath as well as two twin-size beds. Both bedrooms and the living area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable.

For your convenience, we have included a washer and dryer, free WiFi and a telephone. Each bed comes with two sets of fresh linens, and towels are included. A storage unit will be made available.

The Somerset building is perfect for families, couples and groups of up to 5, with its amicable nature, quiet atmosphere and private beach entrance. It is a safe and secure building on the southwestern side of Marco Island along its famous Crescent Beach. Activities such as water sports, golfing, hiking, dolphin and alligator tours, bird-watching, and yoga are within walking distance. World-class dining is available in both casual and formal settings and a dine-in movie theatre is right across the street.

Naples is just a 30-minute drive away, and with fishing off the Pier, shops and restaurants on 5th Avenue, art exhibitions in the park and Tin City, anyone of any age can find an excellent way to spend the day.

We just arrived back from a wonderful vacation on Marco Island! My entire family rented out many of the condos, and our ages ranged from 6 months to 80+ years. It definitely didn't have the bars or nightlife that some of my cousins where looking for, but we all still had an amazing relaxing vacation. It was nice to just rotate between the beach, to the pool, to the patios. Although this condo atmosphere would be more preferred by AGE 55+, anyone at any age could use a relaxing vacation, and these condos where definitely the epitome of relaxation. The condo was beautifully renovated, and now the two twin beds are now a King bed. It was so clean inside, and I loved that when you opened the front door you instantly saw the ocean. I would definitely stay here again, and next time stay for more than a week!

Make sure you get your keys BEFORE arriving!

This unit is beautiful & recently updated & view is perfect. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Nobody at this building has your keys! If you arrive on a weekend there is nobody there for you! Nobody told us this so when we arrived on Saturday we could not get into our unit & there is nobody working at the building on weekends. So make sure you figure out where your keys are BEFORE you get there - keys are NOT there for you & you have to pick them up someone on the island. We had to go on a 2 1/2 hour scavenger hunt with ZERO clues! It was terrible & frustrating. We ended up tracking down the building manager's cell number & had to BEG & BRIBE him to help us! He does not work weekends & makes is very clear NOT leave him a message if you are a renter that does not know where their keys are! We made dozens of calls, stopped in every real estate office on that island that was still open and/or called every real estate office that was closed hoping SOMEONE had clues for us! When I called VRBO, they tried to book us ANOTHER unit on the island. They also did not have any information about the keys. In addition, this building is very, very quiet - no noise allowed after 10 pm - there are actually notices saying you can be evicted if you make any noise after 10 pm. Security is outstanding if you need that. Full time guard at gate 24 hours --you need lots of keys - you have to go through TWO locked gates to get to the beach & you need those keys to get back from the beach back into the condo building too (then your key to your unit too!). We liked the quietness because we did not have kids with us. If we had been traveling with family or friends this building would have been too quiet but for just the two of us it was great. WE will DEFINATELY go back to MARCO ISLAND.

Lovely, very clean condo with exceptional views

I have been coming to Marco for over 30 years and this is the first time we have had to rent. We were very pleased with the spacious condo. Recently, there were some updates to the condo so the bathrooms were like new and we were impressed by how clean everything was. The deck was overlooking the beach with beautiful views all day long. Even when you walk in the condo door, you look out at the Gulf. We enjoyed our stay and found everything we needed was provided. The beach chairs were great, seemed new and
there were coolers and an umbrella for our beach needs. The only downside - it took awhile for the contact person to get back with us in regards to our reservation. I also could not get the wifi password to work and left a message with no return call. That was
disappointing. We would definitely recommend this condo and would not hesitate to rent again!
