Close to our apartments with a heart you find plenty of possibilities for SPORTS.
Skiing area 'Geisskopf' and the biggest Bike-Park in Germany are just 500 metres away. Directly beside our house you can go walking, nordic walking, biking, snowboarding, night-skiing, downhill- or cross-country-skiing, winter- and summer-tobbogan-run, golfing, mini-golfing, horseriding, mountain-biking and many more.
Biking and hiking trails are being used by many biking and hiking enthusiasts for magnificent excursions into the Bavarian Forest. We'd be happy to advise you and tell you about the ones that are best for you.
For Nordic-Walking you will find wonderful trips - short- and long-distance.
For biking enthusiasts the Geisskopf area provides the Bike-Park. Take an easy ride up the mountain with the lift and ride down-hill with your bike. If you wish, you can also get right onto the jumping course to tire yourself out. Protective gear is mandatory...
Glass street - Bavarian Forrest, Shopping & more:
In just 20 minutes you find the 'Glass street - Bavarian Forrest'. The Bavarian Forrest is the center of producing glass and glass-art in Germany. In many glass-fabrics along the glass street you can watch, how glass is blown and watch artists doing their work. We are sure, you´ll find the perfect souvenir on your tour.
Cities like Regen (10 km), Deggendorf (15 km) offer good conditions for shopping or a city-walk. Cities like Passau, Straubing, Dingolfing or ancient Regensburg invite you within 35 to 70 minutes of distance.
Sit down and relax...:
Where is relaxing better possible than in an area inbetween green grassland, mountains and a lot of quietness? Bischofsmais offers its guest in Naturepark Bavarian Forrest perfect quietness and recovery. In some minutes walking you find yourself in untouched nature or at a nice skiing area, which even offers skiing at night for your favourite sports and much fun at apres-ski thereafter. Enjoy a winter-breath as much as sun and nature in summer. In winter the tobbogan run is 2000 metres ling and goes aside the skiing area on a separate track. Cross country offers very good conditions as well as wellness-offerings are to be joined, too.
Ski:
Skiing (Alpine/Downhill and cross country). At night floodlights make it possible to ski the 'white fun', as we sometimes call the snow, even in the evening at three alpine/downhill areas.Snowboarding (with Halfpipe and Boarderpark), Curling, Take a buzzing ride down the toboggan run, Well prepared and signposted cross-country ski runs pass directly by our apartments, Numerous Aprés-Ski-(After-Skiing) possibilities and 'Hüttenzauber' ('alpine hut magic'). A lot of winter sport equipment is also for rent right in town.
Golf:
A golf course at the beautiful 'RuselÄ with a perfect hillside situation is to be found in about 8 km distance. And a mini-golf course is close to us, too.
