Mika the agent in Florida was very friendly and helpful and the house was beautifully furnished and equipped - as with with our previous visits to Florida - standards are high.

There were a some things which did let the house down and has stopped us from giving it an excellent rating.

Lehigh Acres is approximately 1 hours drive from the nearest large shopping area and beach at Fort Myers. Consequently we spent a lot of time travelling just to get to a shopping area or beach as Lehigh Acres only has quite basic shopping facilities and certainly none of the larger department stores or indeed any good restaurants, that we could find.

The swimming pool is un-heated so at the time we were there ( March) the water was far too cold to use. We have never been to a house in Florida before ( regardless of season) with an unheated pool.

In the property write up a bbq grill was supposed to have been provided -and we were looking forward to bbq meals around the pool area - there was no bbq and consquently we spent more time than we really wanted cooking indoors.
