Brief Description: This four bedroom, one level log cabin is located on just over two picturesque acres in the Gallatin Valley. The yard has a nice deck area right over the small creek flowing through - during late summer, this creek could dry up. Views to the east are across pastures and farm fields to the Bridger Mountain range. Cottonwood and aspen groves surround the home in the other directions. The Gallatin River is just a short walk down the road.
General location: The home is located south of Belgrade about 5 minutes. The airport and Bozeman are both about a 15 minute drive from the cabin. The home is situated fairly close to the road, but there is a privacy fence and some hedges right in front of the cabin. Road noise is not an issue inside the cabin.
Bedrooms and bathrooms: There are four bedrooms in the home and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a beautiful log frame, king size bed and a private bathroom with tub and shower. The second "master" bedroom has a queen size bed and its own bathroom as well. At the other end of the home are two more bedrooms and a shared bathroom. One of these bedrooms has a queen size bed and the other has a trundle bed that will pull out to two twin size beds.
Kitchen: The home has a complete kitchen with all the appliances, cookware and serving ware that you will need. There is a counter with two bar stools for chatting with the cook, plus the dining room area off to the side which will seat up to six to eight very comfortably.
Living room: The cozy living room has a huge sectional sofa for lounging around, napping, reading -- you get the idea! Out in the sunroom are two more small sofas set up for watching television or movies in the evening. The home is set up with satellite television in the living room and the sunroom.
Other amenities: There is a washer and dryer in the home for guests' use. High speed Internet available upon request.
Activities nearby: From the back door, those who love to fish can walk over to the Gallatin River and try to catch a trout before breakfast or kids can swim and play all day on the river. In addition to the amazing access to the Gallatin River, from this great location it is just a short drive to hiking, biking, rafting, and horseback riding in the summer months, and skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. Bozeman and Belgrade both have a great selection of fine and casual dining, plus plenty of art galleries and shops to check out. There's so much to do!
Guest capacity: Creekside Cabin can accommodate up to eight guests in the main cabin. Larger groups, up to twelve guests, can also rent the apartment space over the garage.
Guest apartment: There is a one bedroom apartment over the garage available to add on. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, one full bathroom,kitchen and dining area, and a complete living room. There is a pullout sofa in the living room, so the guest apartment can accommodate up to four more guests.
This is a green home! Creekside Cabin is in our Green Homes program – an effort by Mountain Home and our homeowners to be a bit gentler on our beautiful landscape. To be a Green Home, a property must utilize compact fluorescents for at least 75% of its lighting, supply recycled fiber paper products, use gentler cleaning products, and offer recycling bins for guest use.
What's included: You’ll receive a complimentary security deposit waiver so you don’t have to pay a security deposit. Your home is completely prepped before you arrive and fully cleaned after your stay – at no charge to you. For guests who stay twelve nights or more, a weekly cleaning is also included. Additional housekeeping can all be arranged with a bit of prior notice. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, include good quality bed and bath linens, staples like paper goods, laundry and dish washing supplies, and our signature Mountain Home hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries!
Other details: To ensure that all of our homes are maintained to the highest standards for our guests, no smoking is allowed in any of our homes and no pets are allowed on our properties without prior written approval from Mountain Home.
