This Sandpiper home has two bedrooms, each bedroom has a full bath; the master bedroom has glass sliding doors that open onto a, totally private, furnished patio with spa. The dinning area also opens onto this patio for easy indoor- outdoor dinning. This home is quiet, comfortable and charmingly decorated . There is a full kitchen with all the equipment needed for your stay.The living room opens onto a second furnished patio facing the large heated pool, manicured lawns, gardens and mountain views. Fruit trees (orange, lemon, grapefruit) are just outside your door.
The home has high-speed WI/FI Internet service, TVs, and a DVD player. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The location is one of the best in the desert; it is just off El Paseo Drive with its outdoor restaurants, art galleries and up scale shopping. A free shuttle, that you can hop off and on, runs up and down El Paseo. The popular 'River' entertainment complex with restaurants, shopping and movie theaters is only 5 minutes away. Beautiful Highway 111 the main artery from Palm Springs to Indio is just a few blocks away as well as Highway 74 which can take you up into the mountains in 20 minutes.
A great benefit to staying at this home is that I live close by and work just down the street an art gallery on El Paseo so I am available if you have a question or need help. Also the indoor outdoor experience as many of the rooms open to the outside ( the master bedroom, living room, dinning room) and as our weather is so beautiful most of the time one can take full advantage of this. One of the two furnished patio has a spa area and this area is walled and completely private.
As well as the other benefits with the location already mentioned. It is a short walk to the Palm Springs Museum in Palm Desert, there are tennis court butting the mountains as well as hiking trails. You can walk to stores to get your groceries or go out to eat.
We absolutely loved our two week stay in this fantastic desert home. We went with another couple and were amazed when we turned the key to our home of two weeks . I would say that the write up was understated. We had no idea, that the home was approximately 1800 square feet. It was very well appointed, with a huge living room (with the Palm Desert looking furniture), dining room, kitchen, pantry, two bedrooms, each having separate bathrooms (definitely giving enough privacy to all). The best part being the two sundecks, one in the front facing the heated pool which we used daily and a private spa in the back, which I found out is rare in the Sandpiper units. This unit is located just a few short blocks from El Passeo and we were amazed to find out that this unit was built by the famous architect William Krisel. Close to fantastic restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The grounds were impeccable (picture perfect). Richard was a dream to work with. We would definitely recommend to both friends and family. We were not aware of the Sandpiper development history until we read about it in a printout in the unit -- groups of 14 homes each built around a large park-like area with a private pool and activity area. We loved the quiet and the views. The unit is furnished well although the photos are not current. There are now elaborate arrangements of pictures on all the walls and a lot of charming knick-knacks displayed. The master bed is a king; there are two twins in the second master suite. We found the kitchen to have everything we needed in the way of dishes and cooking utensils and the BBQ was very clean. We used the nicely heated pool in the center as well as the private spa in the patio accessible from both the main bedroom and the dining room. Overall the unit is very comfortable and quiet. A couple of maintenance issues were fixed within a few hours of reporting them with the exception of the carpeting which has some heavy spotting in a few areas. There is also no phone contrary to the description on the website but that is not an issue these days. We hope to come here again since the location is so convenient.
The location of this rental was perfect for us, everything is close by, you can walk to dinner, shopping etc.
The home is very comfortable and clean. Obviously decorated with love, interesting art on the walls.
We live in a cool climate so being able to open all the glass sliding doors to the warm beautiful weather was fantastic, we also loved the private spa and walled patio. The pool is large and heated. Although the home and grounds are extremely peaceful there are abundant activities close by.
Richard was very friendly and helpful. he works and lives very close by so was always available.

The deposit may be a personal check, US check,or money order. You must return the signed rental agreement with deposit check to us to confirm reservation.
