The holiday apartment in the recently restructured Residenza Frassinelli with direct access to the seaside is a luxury flat pleasantly furnished and can accommodate up to seven persons. It consists of a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms one of which with double bed, the other with two single beds and a bathroom and a big terrace with seaview. On request a garage will be let. Pets are welcome.

Castiglioncello is a splendid seaside resort at the Tyrrenian coast south of Laceahom enjoying a soft and pleasant climate also in wintertime. It is situated in the middle of Tuscany and has excellent communication services to all famous cities, (Firenze Pisa Siena). Castiglioncello stretches on a promontory with rank vegetation and magnificent view along the coastline. The charming piazza at the centre of the city invites to linger around elegant boutiques, bars, cafes of restaurants. Sporting activities include tennis, riding, biking, boating sailing, offered are also sailing and diving courses.

Great vacation in Tascuny

We spent 10 days in Castiglioncello and I think we could not find better apartment to stay. It was clean, well furnished, equiped and easily fit 7 people (including 9 month old child). It has wonderful sea view and terrace where we had breakfasts every morning and dinners.

The beach in front of the apartment is good. However, there are also some other beaches around. There are also a lot nice places around such as Bolgheri (must see one).

Christina is a good host and very helpful. She addressed all our requests (I had a lot) starting from advises on sightseeing and finishing with the doctor for one of my children.

In overall, I would definitely recommend this place for stay and would love to come back there again.

Lovely apartment in very secure building. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Terrace wonderful to sit out on with wonderful views of the sea. You can even hear the waves crashing! Would recommend this apartment and the area to anyone. The town feels very safe and the people very welcoming. The beach area is amazing. The gallery restaurant is very nice. The train station is very close (less than 10 minute walk) so no need for a car. The supermarket is about 15 minute walk away. Cristina is a lovely host, very helpful. We will definitey be back! Only suggestion would be a few groceries in the apartment on arrival but other than that, amazing place! Book it now!

Wir eine Familie mit drei Kindern (5,9,10) haben für knapp zwei Wochen Ende August/Anfang September hier den Sommerurlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung ist, wie ja schon mehrfach erwähnt wurde, sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Das ganze Haus wurde erst vor kurzen komplett renoviert und hat auch einen Aufzug. Nur die gewöhnungsbedürftige Dusche stellt einen anfangs vor eine größere Herausforderung. Der Meerblick direkt vom Balkon ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner, als es auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Darüber hinaus ist Cristina eine Spitzen-Gastgeberin und hat uns auch schon mal nach einem langen Badetag mit Kuchen verwöhnt. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür! Der Strand (Kies, Steine und ein wenig aufgeschütteter Sand) direkt vor der Haustüre ist für Familien eher weniger geeignet. Wir wurden da schon am ersten Tag von einem Seeigel und scharfen Muscheln überrascht. In der Nähe gibt es allerdings mehrere wunderschöne Ecken mit Sandstrand. Der Ort Castiglioncello hat gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu bieten und man könnte abends (sofern mit älteren oder keinen Kindern unterwegs:-) auch sehr gut ausgehen. Alles in allem war es ein super Urlaub und wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Incredible sunsets

We spent 10 days in Castiglioncello.
The apartment and the view were even better than the photos showed us. The sunsets were incredible.
The apartment is well equipped and clean. The only (little) disadvantages are the taps in the kitchen and in the bath-room (shower).
But anyhow it is a great place to spend your holiday.
Cristina is very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.We really enjoyed this location and we'll surely come back there.
We didn't only visit the great places, we also made a lot of trips to the small villages on the hills in the surroundings. That was really a good idea. There were a lot of lovely places to see.

Tolle Wohnung - Ruhig im September/Oktober !

Die Wohnung ist wie schon mehrfach beschrieben, richtig schön, groß und vor allem modern und sauber!!! Großes Kompliment an Christina. Sie war wirklich eine liebe Gastgeberin! Hat uns immer wieder mal kleine Leckereien vorbei gebracht!! Der Ort an sich war auch sehr ruhig um diese Zeit. Richtig zum Entspannen!
Wir waren die letzte Septemberwoche und die erste Oktoberwoche hier und es war traumhaft! Tolles Wetter 27° - 28° hat es um die Zeit fast jeden Tag gehabt! Waren fast jedem Tag am Meer, allerdings nicht an dem Strand (falls man den so nennen kann ;-) direkt vor der Tür). Dieser erinnert mehr an einen Sandkasten (Betonblöcke mit Sand gefüllt). Weiter südlich in Rosignano ist ein Strand, der zu empfehlen ist (bissl feinkiesig) aber nördlich von Livorno in Terennia ist ein wahrlich toller rießiger feiner Sandstrand! Fahrtzeit ca. 3/4 Stunde. Und um die Zeit komplett leer!!!!
Castiglioncello ist an sich auch schön, aber wir waren lieber tagsüber in Livorno (viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) und abends zum Essen in Cecina! Tolle Restaurants für Fischliebhaber wie uns. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind direkt in der Nähe (Pisa ca. 1 Stunde, Florenz ca. 1 1/2 Stunden, Volterra ca. 3/4 Stunde, Rom ca. 3 Stunden um nur einige zu nennen).
