My wife and I both grew up in Point Pleasant and continue to live here raising our two daughters in town. We love to walk into town and down to the beach and boardwalk....ride our bikes through town and out to dinner. It is a great family town and love to see others enjoy what we do year round.
Jamie purchased this cottage in 2006
Why Jamie chose Point Pleasant Beach
This unique location is one of the only properties that offers a waterway so close to the beach and also direct access to the ocean. It is a fun atmosphere being so close to everything but once you are in the backyard, it is peaceful and quiet overlooking the lake.
We bought the property in 2006 and in 2012 Superstorm Sandy damaged the tiny cottage beyond repair. Making lemonade out of lemons, we decided to rebuild the home to new standards but maintain the 'beachy' feel and vibe appropriate for the area.
What makes this cottage unique
The unique benefits of the home is first and foremost, the location. Attention to detail in the construction, finishes & decor will certainly be refreshing to those who have rented homes in the past. The best of it all is that once you arrive, you can walk to the beach to soak in the rays....go for a walk down the boardwalk...buy some lobsters at the market at the end of the street...grill in the backyard with a cocktail and watch the sunset followed by fireworks.
