About John Paye
The Paye Family purchased the beautiful Fairwinds estate in Lake Tahoe, California in early 1985. For
twenty-seven years, Fairwinds was the site of innumerable extended family vacations. Children were born, reached adulthood, and have returned with their children. No better place in the world exists to view and experience God’s work. Sitting at the living room window puts you on top of the lake. The dock provides space for up to four “woodies”. Giant boulders, create an indescribable adventure for children. The adjacent beach offers a place to relax and experience the idyllic pace of a world long forgotten. The interior of Fairwinds rich paneled rooms and Monterey furniture create a ‘homey’ warmth loved by all; throughout the years, the Paye family have experienced all the beauty Fairwinds has to offer. We are opening up Fairwinds for others to experience the warmth, beauty and comfortable charm that Fairwinds has to offer.
