The local apartment of 'Ca Vezzone' has 2 beautiful terraces and garden with views of the surrounding meadows and hills. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, living / dining room and kitchen. The lower terrace is old, picturesque stone build and borders to a wine and rose covered Pergola Terrace which leads in the huge garden. In the immediate vicinity of the house is a public sports field with 2 tennis courts. Within a few minutes walking distance are all the shops, supermarkets, a pharmacy, dry cleaners, bars and restaurants and a nearby swimming pool. Sesta Godano is a typical Ligurian village inland, 17 km from the picturesque coast of Liguria, Levanto and the Cinque Terre. The area around Sesta Godano, Val di Vara, is marked by green, densely wooded hills and rivers and Gottero Vara. The Monte Gottero, the highest mountain, (1,639 m) is ideal for mountain biking and hiking.

The 'Rivera di Levante' east of Genoa is one of the finest pieces of Italian Rivera with densely wooded hills and mountains, deep coves and picturesque villages and towns by the sea. Sesta Godano, a quiet and natural market town in the inland, is located 17 km from Levanto, a lively town with a wide sandy beach on the Ligurian coast. Bonassola, a few minutes away from Levanto, located in a densely-covered valley, which opens out to the sea and a beautiful bay. The Cinque Terre, one of the most famous and most beautiful tourist destinations for hikers, a few minutes from Levanto train station. Equally attractive focal points on the sea Sestri Levante, Lerici, Porto Venere, also because of the excellent Ligurian cuisine, which is taken from the sea. Lucca and Pisa, are 1 hour away in car, Florence is about 1.5 hours.

Ein landestypisches Haus mit viel Platz für den Bewegungsdrang unserer Kinder. Die Ausstattung entsprach den gemachten Angaben im Inserat. Sehr positiv haben wir die Betreuung vorort erlebt. Im Ort selbst ist alles zu kriegen, allerdings zu teilweise sehr hohen Preisen. Das Haus diente uns als Ausgangspunkt für eine Vielzahl von Ausflügen, wie z.B. Pisa, Cinque Terre, Varese Ligure, Genua....
Das Möbilar ist gut in Schuss, alles war sauber. Positiv erlebten wir, eine Waschmaschine zu haben und die fernsehfreie Zeit. Ausserdem ist das Haus aufgrund seiner Lage sehr ruhig. Empfehlenswert hat sich die Mitnahme unserer Kaffeemaschine herausgestellt, da vorort nur eine silberne Espresso"maschine" vorhanden ist.
Der Reisezeitraum August sollte gemieden werden, da in dieser Zeit alles extrem voll ist (Strände usw).
Fazit: Gerne mal wieder!

Wunderbar vielseitig

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung Ca Vezzone mit zwei Familien mit drei Kindern zwischen 5 Monaten und 2 Jahren genutzt. Die Wohnung mit zwei Bädern, zwei Schlafzimmern, einem Extra-Kinderzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer und einer Küche, die groß genug, aber auch gemütlich ist, damit die Eltern dort mit einem Glas Wein einen kühleren Abend ausklingen lassen, ist dafür ideal. An wärmeren Abenden empfiehlt sich, die große Terasse zu nutzen: Die Glühwürmchen veranstalten ein faszinierendes Schauspiel.

Für uns war die große Terrasse der Mittelpunkt des Urlaubs. Sie ist schön sonnig; man hat in alle Richtungen einen Blick ins Grüne bzw. auf die umliegenden Berge. Dazu kommt noch der große Garten. Auch für größere Kinder wird die Bewegungsfreiheit da sicher nicht eingeschränkt.

In der näheren Umgebung gefielen unseren Kindern die vielen Tiere, Eine Pferdekoppel ist ganz in der Nähe; Katzen können gestreichelt werden; Hühner können spannend sein. Ein Esel möchte gefüttert werden...

Der Massentourismus hat den Ort Sesta Godano bisher verschont. Er bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf (drei Supermärkte, ein Konditor, ...) und eine vielseitige Umgebung.

Von den Wanderungen hat uns der Sentiero Nr. 1 von Framura nach Bonasola am besten gefallen. Man blickt fast senkrecht über 100 m ins Meer, wandert durch eine bunt gemischte Flora.

Ein kleiner Ausflug lohnt sicher auch Varese Ligure, eine schöne Stadt mit ökologischen Ambitionen (z.B. gibt es hier einen Bio-Metzger), ebenfalls vom Massentourismus verschont.

Neben Wanderungen und Meer bietet Ligurien aber auch gute und meist günstige Speisen. Dafür wären wir gerne länger als diese eine Woche geblieben.

Uns hat der Urlaub sehr viel Spaß gemacht; wir werden wiederkommen.

korrekte Angaben; Nachfragen bei Vermietern zuvorkommend + prompt beantwortet; in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit + um Lösung bemüht; herrliche, bei sommerlichem Wetter (fast) ganztägig nutzbare obere Terrasse (Wind und Sonne ausgesetzt), für Gehbehinderte diese weniger geeignet; untere bietet mehr Schutz; 2 kleine komplett eingerichtete Bäder; kein TV, aber sehr gutes Leselicht; 2 bequeme Sessel, Korbstühle für längeres Sitzen eher etwas unbequem; Geschirr eher knapp bemessen (für mehr als 4 Personen), aber alles Wichtige vorhanden; nur kleine italienische Kaffeeautomaten (für deutschen Kaffeedurst mühselig). Sesta Godano bietet alles für die Grundversorgung (außer deutschen Zeitungen)zu Fuß. Eigener PKW ist trotzdem unerläßlich. Der Ort ist ohne besonderen Reiz. Anfahrten in die Berge oder zur Küste, die wunderschöne Aspekte haben. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte, ruhige Ferienwohnung, die wir allerdings nur zu zweit bewohnten. Herrlich!

Italien aus dem Bilderbuch

Das in einem ruhigen Bergdorf landschaftlich sehr reizvoll gelegene Natursteinhaus läßt speziell für einen Familienurlaub kaum Wünsche offen. Wir und unsere Kinder (2 Familien) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auch gefreut, die freundlichen Vermieter durch Zufall persönlich kennen zu lernen, da wir auch im Vorfeld schon netten Emailkontakt hatten. Durch reichlich interessante Ausflugsziele und schöne Strände in erreichbarer Entfernung ist die Lage des Hauses für einen Kombinationsurlaub Kultur-Baden optimal. Wir werden dort bestimmt wieder mal Urlaub machen.
