The wonderful & lovingly furnished apartment is in a comfortable but quiet location in the city (Anliegerstraße). It boasts 2 bedrooms, one living & bedroom with cot, SAT-TV, DVD-Player, music system with CD-Player & 2 radios/cassette recorders. You may not smoke in the house. The eat-in-kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, microwave, dish washer, fridge/freezer, toaster, Fondue-set & additional amenities. The house boasts a high chair, bath with WC & windows, a shower with WC & window, 2 hair dryers and a washing machine. Furthermore, you will find books, games, puzzles & tips for picnics in the city & its surroundings. The large terrace boasts garden furniture & a BBQ. Additional information about rental rates

  • The rent for the off-peak season is € 50 per night for 2 persons. In the mid-season it costs € 60 per night for 2 persons and the costs in the peak season are € 70 per night for 2 persons. Each additional person is charged € 10 per night. Children up to the age of 6 can stay free of cost. There is a charge of € 5 per child/night for children between the ages of 6 to 14. Please take into consideration the number of persons staying overnight while calculating rent!
  • Bed linen and hand towels are provided on request: € 6 per person per set (one bed linen set, one bath towel and one hand towel) for washing. An extra bath towel costs € 1, a hand towel costs € 0.5, the final cleaning charges are € 40. A mid-week cleaning service can be made possible on request.
  • Please enquire for longer duration of rent: from € 210 per week.

Close to Legoland...: It is approx. 20 km away & can be reached by train, bicycle or car. There are several lakes in the vicinity for swimming, fishing, water sports, water skiing & diving. The Danube cycle path & the Danube meadows are ideal for extensive bicycle tours. Restaurants and beer gardens beside or near the Danube in the surrounding areas offer refreshments. There are facilities for hydro-therapy in Dilligen and at Schabringen in the Egau (natural baths). Tennis, table tennis, golf, mini-golf, bowling alleys & fitness trails in Dillingen & Wittislingen. If the weather is bad, you can picnic in the various thermal springs in the surrounding regions & in the thermal bath in Aalen. There are several museums, monasteries, stalactite caves (Charlottenhöhle) & the Ausburg puppet theatre etc. Dillingen has 3 theatres. You can visit Augsburg with the Augsburg puppet theatre and zoo, the Elias Holl town hall, and Fuggerei. There is a balloon museum in Gersthofen near Augsburg. Westerncity is in Dasing near Ausburg. You can visit Höchstädt with Ulm castle, New-Ulm with Ulm Minster and wonderful thermal springs. Blautopf (Bowl of the blau) in Blaubeuren. Mercedes world in Stuttgart, Porsche in Zuffenhausen.

Fishing, water sports: Water-ski on the Fetzersee at Gundelfingen-Danube. There is a diving centre and golf course in Nusseralm at Dillingen. There are various opportunities for hiking by the Danube, in the Danube meadows, in the surrounding forests, on the edge of the Swabian Alps etc. The Donauried: the land of the lakes (approx. 200 lakes) with many options for swimming, fishing etc. It is ideal for cycling along the Danube cycle path and in the surrounding regions.

Ski: Daily skiing excursions for Alpine skiing in the nearby Allgaeu can be undertaken by car, train and bus (approx. 1 hour away). You can also go cross country skiing and tobogganing (when it snows).

Golf: There are some golf courses in the surrounding countryside, e.g. Dillingen, Aalen

Perfect for a family with sons

Me and my family had a very very nice holiday in Dillingen and surroundings, expecially in Legoland an Giengen an der Brenz, of course!
Also little Filippo, almost 20 months, enjoyed a lot Legoland.
The weather was also fine, mostly sunny, except one rainy morning.
Your apartment was really fantastic, perfect for a family with sons, full of everything needed, very well kept, cleany and comfortable.
We too would be pleased to be your guests again.
Be sure that we'll suggest your apartment for holiday in Bavaria or Legoland to our friends.

Family with 3 young kids from a land downunder...

Given there are no English language reviews I thought I'd write one.

The unit is in an older, central part of town in a 1950's - 1960's home. However, both the exterior and interior of the house are great.

The interior looks very nice. The kitchen is modern and new. There is a new en suite to the second bedroom and the existing bathroom has been modernized as well. The rest of the house has presents well. There is a small outdoor area to sit. Unfortunately we only had one day of nice sunshine to use it on.

What I really liked though was that unlike a lot of holiday units I have stayed in there was lots "stuff" there. Just little things you have at home and use but would not bring with you. The kids had a ball with all of the board games. The kitchen has all sorts of spices and other bits of food (which we assumed were on a use and replace basis). It has a really homely feel to it.

In terms of size it is probably a little smaller than what we are used to (then again we come from Australia where everything is big :) ). However, given that it is a holiday unit, I think that 4 people could have a very comfortable time. You could squeeze 6 in if you wanted to.

Shops are within walking distance (2 bakers within 5 minutes walk). The unit is within walking distance of the train station (10 minutes). If you are staying in Dilligen generally I would not do it without a car (perhaps another Australian thing).

I am always suspicious of any listing (even on Amazon for example) where there are only 5 star listings. However, this really is a very, very nice unit. Is it perfect? If I would have any criticisms then they are minor. One issue relates to parking. There is no parking on the premises and you cannot park in front of the house (no standing signs). You can park at the end of the road (unrestricted any time) or in any of the nearby streets (2 hours max during the day). The other issue is that the door frames in the house (like many older ones) are only 180 cm in heights. I know this because I am 188cm. Of course you remember this quite quickly. :)

The unit isn't the cheapest in the area. I haven't stayed at any other accommodation nearby so I can't give any indication of "bang per buck" in comparison. Certainly against some other places I have stayed in France it is miles ahead. We had people over for lunch and they were impressed too. One thing is certain: I doubt you would be disappointed with booking here.

Wir hatten in Dillingen ein sehr schönen Urlaub. Unternehmungen wie das Legoland, die Charlottenhöhle oder der Klettergarten haben sehr viel Abwechslung gebracht. Aber auch das Freibad in Dillingen selber ist ein Besuch wert. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gemütlich und gut eingerichtet. uns fehlte es an nichts.

Als Stammgäste kann ich nur in den höchsten Tönen über die Wohnung und den Vermieter sprechen. Die Ausstattung der Whg ist sehr gut und funktionell (auch für Sebstversorger). Mit dem Einbau des zweiten Bades gibt es auch mit 6 Personen keine "Staus" mehr. Der Vermieter ist sehr entgegenkommend und flexibel wenn es auch einmal Sonderwünsche gibt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist auch Ideal, in einer ruhigen Strasse, aber nicht weit vom Zentrum der Stadt entfernt. Auch das Legoland ist in mühelos mit dem Auto erreichbar was unsere Kinder besonders freut. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis das zu empfehlen ist. Wir freuen uns schon wieder im Mai Ihre Gäste zu sein. Schöne Grüße aus Niederösterreich.

Selbstverständlich ist es für mich immer oberstes Ziel, allen Wünschen gerecht zu werden. Den Komfort, den ich selbst im Urlaub erwarte, lasse ich gerne auch meinen Feriengästen zu gute kommen, das heißt für mich, dass Vieles über die Ausstattung einer konventionellen Ferienwhg. hinausgeht, z. B. 2 Bäder/Toiletten incl. Föns, Zimmersafe, Fondue, Raclette etc.

Für naturbegeisterte Familien und Radsportler

Eine liebevoll eingerichtet Ferienwohnung wenige Gehminuten von der schönen Dillinger Innenstadt entfernt. Mit den vor Ort befindlichen Fahrrädern lässt sich das Dilinger Land und das nahe Donauufer erkunden. Ideal auch für Familien mit Kindern, die einen Besuch im Legoland planen.
Owner's Response: Was für die Kinder das Legoland, der Skylinepark oder die Westerncity, das sind für die Erwachsenen (und die Kinder) die vielen Dorf- und (Klein)stadtfeste ringsum, allen voran das Oktoberfest, das sich bequem mit der Bahn in 1 Std. erreichen lässt. Im Winter sehr interessant die Krippenausstellung.
