The Villa Clelia is located in a particularly beautiful location with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Policastro and the mountains behind it. This handsome and spacious villa consists of a spacious living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms and a bathroom and a well-kept covered terrace, where you can enjoy the magnificent view over the sea and the high mountains. This vacation home is surrounded by a beautiful garden, of course you can use it. There are also a brick barbecue and a real southern Italy pizza oven so you will enjoy the typical culinary art of Italy.

The original coastal Scario lies at the southern end of the national park Cilento - on the brink from the up to Marina di Camerota Infreschi reaching nature park on the one hand and at the beginning of the northern Gulf of Policastro to the other. The magnificent beaches of the natural marine park Infreschi are reached in a few minutes by boat. From Scario you have a panoramic view to the more than 1500 m high mountains of Calabria. Let you bewitched from the unknown South-Italy!

Additional information about rental rates

  • The offered prices are included for 4 guests. The 5th guest is EURO 60,00 a week. If you want to rent the 'Monolokale' (a big extra room with kitchen and sleeping sofas for 4 guests) too, we`ll give you more informations on request. It is not possible to rent the Monolokale only!
  • Cleaning is EURO 50.00. Bed linen and towels are EURO 10.00 per person.
    Pets (dog is EURO 20.00 a week) are allowed!
  • During the months of July and August can only full weeks (Saturday - Saturday) be booked. Outside these periods, the rental period can be freely selected, but at least one week. In this case, the costs are proportionately.

Very worth a visit to the excavation of ancient sites, such as the temples of Paestum (built 2500 years ago), Pompeii or Herculaneum (buried by the eruption of Vesuvius 79 A.D.), and the Greek philosopher's school Elea-Velia (founded about 530 B.C.). You should also visit the Certosa of San Lorenzo (Padula) and the caves of Castelcivita. Also for lovers of unspoiled nature, there is a lot to discover. Whether it is the formal richness of the coast, with its many caves and the mountainous hinterland of both offers as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserve-even rare animal and plant species are protected refuge. Come and see life and culinary art of Southern Italy.

Motorboat rentals and boat trips: At the port, there is the possibility to rent motor boats (without boat-driving licenc in Italy to 40 PS), to the picturesque coastline to explore. Highly recommended! Boat trips on local fishing boats with a visit to the numerous caves and bathing stop at one of the lonely beaches, whose accessible only by sea, are offered at the port.
