We have been visiting the Big Island for the last 12 years. We love it so much we are making it our second home. Residing in Huntington Beach CA today I am an Entrepreneur/Artist and my husband works for a Medical Imaging company.
We used to visit Maui a couple times a year then stepped foot on this Lava Jungle of the BIG ISLAND and fell in love with it. We are a very active couple and love the activities the Big Island has to offer such as Hiking, Biking, Motorcycling, Horseback Riding, ATV, Snorkeling, Swimming, Boating (the list goes on). We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

This property is VERY Quiet but only 4 blocks to the restaurants and coffee house, I sleep so well here but if you feel like interacting at Happy Hour that is close too. This property has it all, Privacy, Security, Fitness, Pool, Activity Center for larger parties, Hot Tubs, Manicured to perfection, walkable to the beach.
This was the perfect place for us to call home base on our Hawaiian adventure! My boyfriend and I are pretty adventurous, and so we packed as much as we possibly could into our trip, and A2 (the charming name of this townhouse) was exactly what we were looking for to rejuvenate each night after a full day of exploring!
The hot tub in the pool area was a great way to relax at night, and we had the entire area to ourselves more often than not. There were two pools, a lap pool close to the gym and a leisure pool across the lawn. Neither were ever very crowded and there were plenty of lounge chairs available.
There are quite a few beaches within a short drive, but you do need a car to get around. All the beaches in Hawaii are public, it's just the parking that isn't, so be prepared to lug all your beach gear around with you; but it is so worth it! There are so many great snorkel areas close by, we never visited the same place twice our entire trip.
The kitchen is well equipped, and we could find everything we really needed. In fact, having such a nice grill available on the lanai made for some delicious dinners in the moonlight.
The entire experience, from first contacting Angie to locking the door behind us on our way to the airport was smooth and seamless, and we will definitely be back! Thanks Angie for helping us have an amazing vacation!
We stayed at Angela's beautiful villa at Mauna Lani in Feb 2014 and really enjoyed it. The townhouse is very spacious and feels brand new. It is in a gated community that is dead quiet at night as the community is still under development. No construction noises heard. The pool area is a 5 min walk from the townhouse and is immaculate. It was cleaned every day and is set on manicured grounds. It features a large shallow pool, a lap pool, 2 hot tubs, a BBQ area and a fitness center. The development spared no expense on these and it shows.
One of our favorite perks of the townhouse is access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. It is a 10 minute drive away and has a great beach with fine snorkeling.
Our kids had a blast and found 2 different types of moray eel only 20 feet from the beach. Very surprising to have a great beach as well as good snorkeling side by side!
The units appliances and beds were all high end.
The high speed internet was fantastic as was the big screen to unwind and watch the Olympics at night.
The only small negative was walking in the evening to the hotel, Orchid or Shops at Mauna Lani. There is no foot-path or much light, and it seemed dangerous walking on the shoulder of traffic. A walking light would have made a big difference. We found this is the case at a number of resorts on the Big Island (vs. other Islands we've visited like Kauai which is very pedestrian).
Having said that, the Big Island has become our absolute favorite and we would not hesitate to return. We rate this rental 5 star. We don't think the pictures do it justice!
Park and hiking within walk, Beach at the Fairmont Orchid is just a 10 min. walk, Grocery/Galleries/Shopping/Restaurants/Bars are only 4 blocks away. Private Beach Club access.

Your CC has not been charged until I receive the contract signed then I will accept your 50% down payment.
