Wonderful 2 bedroom camp on lake Champlain. Updates to the entire property add comfort and character to this cozy getaway. Large wrap-around sun deck complete with grill and picnic table. Two bedrooms with views of Lake Champlain open up to a second story deck and furniture. Washer/dryer in unit add another element of convenience. Nice gardens and a healthy lawn invite the outside to your doorstep.
The listing was advertised correctly as far as location and ammenities. Property is clean and well maintained. Fusion Property Mgmt is attentive to any needs or concerns. Accomodations were adequate. Master bedroom has window AC; otherwise window fans. Priced ok. Nice screened front porch, upper and lower decks for lounging, and a charcoal grill and picnic table. Big back yard. Property is part of a quiet summer lake assocation north of Burlington on Mallets Bay. There are right of ways between houses to walk down to the water and enjoy a small sandy beach. Very safe and friendly little neighborhood. Bike paths are numerous and safely accessible right from the house, or you can drive to parking areas and join the trails. Very family oriented area.
Our primary interest was bicycling and exploring VT. Stowe is a day trip, with a visit to Ben and Jerry Ice Cream Factory.
Highlights are biking to the Hero Islands over the biking/walking only causeway. Easy drive to Burlington for great restaurants and shopping. It is only a 2 hour drive to Montreal. The Lake Champlain area is great to explore, whatever your interest. We enjoyed Shelburne Farms and Museum, Shelburne Winery, L. Champlain Chocolate Factory, VT Teddy Bear Factory, and a 1.5 hr lunch cruise on the lake which is narrated with history.
Nice rental - just as advertised - nice neighborhood - short walk to the beach. Only negative is that the only shower is in the downstairs bathroom while the bedrooms are all upstairs. Also the decks and picnic table really need cleaning and staining.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed, close to a marina to launch our boat, and allowed us to have our pet with us. Ashely and the folks at Fusion Property and Management were very hospitable. For example we messaged Ashely when we could not figure out the cable she responded promptly and the next day lawn care man, who had been informed about the problem asked if we had figured it out and offered assistance. Good experience over all.
Removed from the hustle and bustle of a big city, come relax by the lake. Short driving distance to Burlington and shops.
