This private villa sits on an extra deep lot of lush tropical landscaping and offers guests a view of the ocean and golfcourse; the world-renowned Teeth of the Dog; rated the best golf course in the Caribbean. Located on a quite culdesac, and just minutes from the beach and within walking distance to the hotel, this villa is attractive to both families and golfers alike.

Recently remodeled in authentic Caribbean style, the villa features open air architecture, luxurious interiors, beamed ceilings, and tile and mahogany floors throughout. A poolside guest house, entertainment bohio, and large BBQ complete this tropical landscape and offer families and friends the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tropical backdrop. Transportation from the house to all restaurants, the hotel, marina, beach, shops and the historic Altos de Chavon ensures convenient and scenic travel.

Breakfast and lunch are prepared daily. Dinner is available with advance notice. (Guests supply food). Laundry and all housekeeping duties are offered daily by the reliable and friendly maid/cook and gardener/butler; both speak English and Spanish. The separate staff service quarters provide privacy for all guests.

The main house features a large great room, formal dining area, and large presentation/guest kitchen. Tropical louvered windows and doors fully open to reveal an attached bohio living area with full jacuzzi, mini guest bar, private pool and entertainment bahio. The entertainment bohio located at the end pool area features a large sitting area, full bar area, dining area and plenty of room for entertainment; and don't forget to BBQ at the large attached cooking area. The dining area can accommodate 14 inside and 15-20 under the poolside bahio.

The five bedroom villa features a Master bedroom with King bed, private bath, and louvered doors that open onto a private verandah overlooking the pool and jacuzzi. Bedroom Two has two full-size beds with a private bath, while Bedroom Three has three twin beds with a private bath. An additional guest powder room is conveniently located in the main living area.

A separate guesthouse is located poolside with two additional bedrooms that overlook the pool and golf course. One bedroom has a king bed, private bath and custom-made outside coral shower. The other poolside bedroom has two full beds, and a private bath with another personalized, outdoor, coral shower.

When the children were young, it was the perfect place for us to relax and for the children to play. Now, our home-away-from home allows us to re-connect with friends and family, while escaping from our high-stress jobs in healthcare, education, and marketing.

The staff are like part of our family, having worked for us for many years.

This villa is amazing. We come and stay every year and we always have a wonderful time. The villa is beautiful and luxurious and the location is central to the whole resort. It is so easy to get around. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The meals are always delicious and the cook is really versatile. We usually come as an adult group but this year we came as a combined family group of 14. It was even more fun. The villa has so many sitting areas we could easily watch the kids while still having our adult time. The backyard was used everyday for kite flying and games. We will be back again next year it was a great vacation. Thanks Mary...

Perfect Villa for Family Vacation

My family rented this villa this past Christmas and New Years. There were 10 of us, we were more than comfortable and all had a fantastic time. The villa is beautiful and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Should you rent, you will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive. The staff is exceptional....did I say exceptional??? Both Liz, Antonio, and their helper made our families stay perfect! The meals they prepared were amazing and enjoyed by all. They were always willing to help with anything they could to make our stay excellent. We compensated them with a very nice tip at the end of our stay to show our appreciation. I would certainly recommend this villa and with no doubt say your vacation will great!!

Family happening!

We had to organize a family vacation for 15 people including 7 kids aged 36 months up to 9 years old spanning 3 generations... It was just great. Cajuiles 56 is a welcoming, comfortable, spacious and safe tropical house where we can all be together at a time or look for individual, quite corner space. Staff is helpful, efficient and kind especially when having young kids around. In addition the cook is well versed in accomodating cuisine of your choice and liking. During our 10 days stay, we had arranged a family van suitable for whatever transport requirements, beaches, local supermaket, day trip to the Capital etc,etc.. Communications incl Internet works fine.
Definitely a place to have in mind for a large numbered party!

very nice weekend

I was with my daughters, my sister and my mother had a very pleasant weekend, the house has all the amenities and a nice pool area. I rent it for two days, Friday and Saturday and call to stay one more day.

I recommend this house

Very, very nice!

Cajuiles 56 is a fantastic home. The staff was very good, great cooks, and helpful in every way. The location is very convenient to the Hotel and all activities. Great space for an extended family or large gathering due to the large pool area and extended yard.
All the comforts of home and such a relaxing vacation!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
