Here, in the villa community of Marcaneto, a little above the town centre of Scario, you are surrounded by nature. From your holiday home in Scario (Cilento) it is only ca. 600 m to the sea, to the nearest beach (shingle) and to the centre of the contemplative fishing village with its little stores, café bars and restaurants. Your ca. 120 sqm holiday home is a well-tended rustico with pretty stone front. You live on two floors: The tall ceilings create an airy atmosphere in the rooms. Two terraces, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, invite you to spend your vacation time outside. The ca. 30 sqm roofed terrace on the ground floor is ideal to dine outdoors and sit together on mild evenings. For cosy hours with your holiday reading the terrace on the first floor of your holiday home is suited well.

The dreamy coastal village of Scario is the jewel at the southern-most end of the Cilento. The ancient Greeks were already drawn to Scario by its unique site and the mild climate (Greek: Skariòs). The beautiful church with its separate bell tower – a campanile – is to be found on the main piazza of Scario. From there you can promenade under palm trees above the small harbour and take part in the typical Italian village life in cafés, bars and restaurants

Notes: There are a total of four bedrooms on the first floor: two double and two single rooms. One of double and one of the single rooms has access to the terrace on the first floor. Your bathroom is equipped with shower/bidet/WC. Not only the bedrooms appear bright and friendly. Also the spacious, ca. 35 sqm living/dining room (with TV) has enough light due to its paned façades. A chimney creates a cosy atmosphere, the dining area is divided from the living area by a step. In a separate room with access to the dining room and to the outside the eat-in-kitchen is located. In the built-in kitchen made of solid wood you find everything you need to prepare local specialties. Afterwards the dishes may be served on the dining table. A dishwasher will help you to clean up after a delicious meal. On the ground floor there is also a storage room with an additional WC and a washing machine. You may park your car on the fenced property.
