2 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo With Multiple Gulf Views With Pool And Beach Access

Come relax and enjoy the views and breezes in our 4th floor, 2BR/2BA condo (#210), at Sanibel Siesta, that has 2 Gulf Views and Beach views; one from the large lanai running the full length of the LR/DR and the other off the Master Bedroom. Both Lanais are screened-in and seat 6 and 4, respectively,and all outdoor seating has new, custom-made cushions. Also, we just added 4 new ceiling fans to the unit in May 2014 : 1 in each bedroom and 1 in each lanai, so say Goodbye to the heat this summer and fall and say Hello to your new Vacation condo!!

Our Condo was renovated in late 2013 with new tile floors, new bath vanities with granite counters, sinks and hardware, in both the Master and Guest baths. We also installed new, colorful furniture, with a tropical feel, in the living room and dining room. The second bedroom linens and décor were updated in May, 2014.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and utensils you need to fix your own meals on-site. Or, you can use the gas grills provided on the Sanibel Siesta property near the main office. The Dining Room seats 6 easily(but we have 7 chairs), and the entire family can enjoy the Gulf View from the glass dining room table.

For a very quiet and restful night's sleep after a long day on the beach or at the pool, the condo has 1 King pillow-top bed in the Master with new bedding, 2 twins in the Guest Bedroom with new bedding (these can be pushed together with a bed bridge to become a King), and a Queen Sleeper in the Living Room. Lots of flexibility for any family/group. There is a large walk-in closet off the Master, and don't forget the new bath cabinets, counters, sinks and hardware. All linens, except for beach towels, are provided in the condo. You'll find new, flat-screen TVs in both bedrooms with cable access.

In the Living Room, along with the new blue sleeper sofa and the new Wasabi green love seat, there is a new, upholstered chair, a new, large, flat-screen TV with cable, and a DVD player. We offer free WiFi throughout the condo.

Sanibel Siesta, a 62-unit complex with a tropically-landscaped inner courtyard and pond, has its own heated, large pool and its own private access to the magnificent beach. Play in the waves, spot dolphins, build sandcastles and search for shells. After that, walk next door for Happy Hour, and later, choose one of Sanibel's fun restaurants. Sanibel Siesta also has 2 tennis courts, gas grills, shuffle board, bike rentals and on-site management to attend to your every need. Laundry is available on property near the office.

To reach the condo, park in the adjacent, paved parking lot, take the elevator to the 4th floor, and enter #210 through the new exterior door with storm door that has an optional screened window (enjoy the Gulf Breezes when using the screens from the door through to the Lanai). 6+ Beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and other beach items are provided in the storage closet just outside the front door.

About Betty Johnson

Paul and Betty bought this unit in late 2013 and updated it to fit many renters' needs. We both work in the non-profit world in Nashville, TN, but like to call Sanibel our second home. We are thrilled to own here and to be able to share our beautiful condo with vacationers looking for a wonderful locale and time on the shell-filled beaches.

Why Betty Johnson chose Sanibel Island

We chose to purchase this unit because we love Sanibel and its pace and amenities. When our kids were younger, we spent one week each of 10 summers on Sanibel. Now we can bring them back with their families to enjoy what we've come to love and respect about the island. We specifically chose Sanibel Siesta because of the setting, its proximity to shops and restaurants, its tranquil environment and the on-site management. It is so quiet at night and very well run and maintained!

What makes this condo unique

Quite frankly, what made us fall in love with this unit, when we toured it in Summer 2013, was the OMG Views as we walked into the living room. We could see the gulf waters and part of the beach. From the side lanai, we can see more of the island in addition to the gulf. We knew right then that this was the property for us, even after having toured 4 other properties on the island. We really hope to share this great, corner space with others while you are on vacation on Sanibel.

Description is perfect: unit is very neat & clean, with wonderful views from both lanais and an easy walk to a gorgeous beach. Location is convenient to virtually everything on Sanibel Island, and just a short drive to Captiva. Stayed with our 88-year old mom, and she absolutely loved the whole experience. We highly recommend this unit.
