Eugene House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Come relax in style in the Willamette Valley at this lovely, Zen-inspired, three bedroom Eugene vacation home with a garden path, wine arbor, private pool and hot tub! Located right on the edge of Laurelwood Golf Course, you'll love staying here. Whether you spend your days out touring the University of Oregon campus, visiting for a graduation, or just enjoying this small Oregon city's sights, you'll love returning home for a dip in the pool or a rejuvenating soak in the hot tub.
In the cozy living room and throughout the house, you'll find hardwood floors with cherry inlay, high ceilings, and skylights. When you settle in for the evening, you'll have your pick of comfortable furniture in the living room, along with a TV, cable, and a DVD player. Just sit back and watch a movie, or use the WiFi to plan the next day's activities.
The full, gourmet-styled kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and beautiful cherry cabinets. Here, you'll find everything needed to prepare meals from the simplest of breakfasts to fancy, food magazine-worthy plates for dinner. Of course, Eugene is full of brewpubs, restaurants, and cafes, so if you don't feel like cooking a meal, you'll have plenty of options for dining out!
The two of the bedrooms have a queen bed each, and the third bedroom has a full sized bed. One of the bedrooms has its own separate entry, just off the side garden and carport, about 10 steps from the back door. For a member of your group that wants a bit more privacy or will be coming and going a lot on their own, this is the perfect accommodation. The master bathroom has a large, sunken tub/shower combo and the second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway. To make your visit more comfortable, you'll also have a washer and dryer for your use and this home will sleep up to six guests in style.
On the outdoor deck, there's furniture for sitting down and watching the golfers on the green - this is actually the closest home to the golf course! On nice evenings, you may want to bring your plates outside and have dinner as the sun sets. Surrounded by lush landscape, the pool, hot tub, and gardens are as beautiful as they are relaxing.
For those attending events at the University of Oregon, this location is an easy one and a half miles from campus. You can take the leisurely 30 minute stroll through neighborhoods, ride bikes, or take advantage of the free visitor parking at the school to browse the Jordan Schnitzer Art Museum and its extensive holdings of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American art.
Not content to admire your own wine arbor at the house? The central Willamette Valley is home to many wineries - a lot within a 30 minute drive of the vacation home. King Estate is right on the outskirts of town and produces some of the region's most popular Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. There's a tasting room and even a restaurant for lunch and dinner featuring estate produced charcuterie, fruits, vegetables, honey and baked goods.
Whether you're showing a teen around the U of O campus or attending a graduation ceremony, you'll want to fit in a bit of time to explore Eugene's unique location - it's an hour west to the ocean and an hour east to the towering peaks of the Cascade Mountain Range. A quintessential college town, Eugene is filled with parks and green spaces, coffee shops, cafes, bookstores, and galleries. As one of the most active cities in the west, you'll find ample opportunities for hiking, biking, jogging, boating, and exploring all around while you're here.
