It is surrounded by a large, quiet property with lush, tropic vegetation where bananas, mangoes, papayas, colorful bushes and trees all grow. Your stay and the accommodation are subject to self-catering.

Your vacation location, Diani Beach, is just under 30km south of Mombasa. According to respected travel guides, the beach is a dream: soft white sand and quiet waters due to the coastal coral reefs. Nearby you will find a shopping centre, 2 very good hospitals, a lot of different restaurants, bars and a disco. From the nearby small Ukunda airport, you can go on excursions to different animal parks. The Shimba Hills National Park can be seen from the house - we recommend this park for a day long animal safari. Another day excursion could be to the underwater world in the Shimoni Marine National Park which you can experience with a boat tour. The city of Mombasa and its old Arabian trade port, the fortress Fort Jesus and the small old city can be discovered in a day. You should allow yourself multiple days to go to the other national parks located further away (Maasai Mara, Tsavo, Amboseli).

Erholung pur, wie im Paradies. Ein Traum

Paradies

Was man vorfindet entspricht der Beschreibung, es ist ein Traum. Es ist Erholung pur. Es hat meine Erwartung übertroffen.
Der Houseboy ist die Seele der Villa.
Die Lage ist ruhig, sie liegt am Ende der Hauptstrasse, das ist gut so. Am Tage kann man alles mit den Matatus ( das sind kleine Busse ) erledigen. Nur Abends hab ich manchmal ein Auto vermisst, weil die Matatus dann nicht mehr fahren oder nur gelegentlich. Fürs nächste mal werde ich ein Wagen dazu mieten.
Man muss da gewesen sein um das zu füllen was ich gefüllt habe.

Owner's Response: Die Rückmeldungen zu unserer Strandvilla Benita sind immer äußerst positiv. Es freut mich, dies auch als Bewertung erhalten zu haben!

Nachts kann man sich ein Taxi rufen, die auch recht günstig sind (ich gebe in meinen Unterlagen jedem Mieter einen zuverläsigen Taxifahrer auf). Ferner bieten viele Restaurants einen kostenlosen Shuttleservice an, so dass meines Erachtens ein Auto nicht nötig ist; aber selbstverständlich kann man sich auch ein Auto leihen, es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe mehrere Autovermietungen.

"Unruhen": Dieses Schreckgespenst kreist nur noch in Deutschland in manchen Köpfen. Es hat zu keinem Zeitpunkt Unruhen an der Küste oder in anderen Touristengebieten gegeben. Seit Februar 2008 bilden die beiden revalisierenden politischen Parteien eine gemeinsame Regierung und seit dem ist es auch in den damaligen Problemgebieten wieder friedlich.

Erholung fuer Koerper und Seele

Der perkekte Erlaub fuer Koerper und Seele.
Jeden morgen einen schoenen Strandspaziergang.
Danach frische Fruechte zum Fruehstueck.
Der Obststand ist vor der Tuer, alles andere mit den Sammeltaxis fuer 50ct in 10 minuten erreichbar.
Frischer Fisch vom Fischer, der kommt an die Tuer zum verkaufen oder man geht an den Ocean, 3 Fussminuten.
Toll wir kommen wieder Danke.
