Placed in one of the most central areas of the eternal city, this wonderful 160 m2 apartment is composed of a living room, a dining room, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large terrace overlooking Saint Peter's dome; it comfortably hosts up to 8 guests.
The apartment has been completely renewed and prestigiously refurbished in January 2013, with both modern and original antique furniture. It is on the third and last floor of an historical building and for this reason there is no lift. Wi-Fi Internet is available in all parts of the apartment.
As soon as you enter, you will be fascinated by the spacious entrance and the long corridor through which you can access all areas of the property.
The day area consists of a living room, with a double sofa bed, Satellite Tv, and a dining room with a very large table that can sit up to 10 people; and a fully equipped kitchen complete with oven, dish washer, toaster, kettle, Italian coffee maker.
Through the dining room windows you can access the wonderful 22m2 terrace from which you can see Via Cola di Rienzo, Piazza Risorgimento and a magnificent view of St. Peter's dome.
The sleeping area is composed of three bedrooms. The first is a 21m2 double bedroom with two single beds or one king size bed and furnished with antique armoire and desk. The second bedroom offers an original antique queen size bed and a big chest of drawers. The third bedroom is furnished in a modern style, with a queen size bed, a big armoire and its own bathroom with stall shower (green one in the pictures). This is the first of three bathrooms: others are the pink one, fitted with a?bathtub with overhead shower, toilet, bidet and a washing machine and the blue one, complete with toilet and stall shower.
I am married with one daughter, Camilla, who supports me to run the business. We like hosting guests and create a personal relation with each person.
I currently work in an insurance company, therefore earning money is not the main reason for renting my property.
This is my family's apartment and I have lived here for many years. It means a lot to me, so I would never sell it.
Very few apartments have the same view and daylight.
Our party if 7 just spent last weekend at this apartment. The owner was very easy to deal with and patiently answered all my questions. The location was perfect. We travelled by train from Florence and took the red line to the apartment no problem. The stairs could be an issue for some, but we were fine with them. We were able to walk everywhere, the Vatican museums, St. Peter's Square, Trevvi fountain, Spanish Steps, really, we never took a bus or subway at all. The apartment was well equipped, although we spent little time there. It was quiet at night. I would return here in a moment!

This is in a brilliant location overlooking the Vatican. Its an easy walk to all the main sites in Rome and the area has lots of nice places to eat, including a gluten free place just down the road.
Its easy to go further afield too, as a taxi rank and buses are 2 minutes away .
The apartment is really lovely and has everything you could need for a short or long stay.
What makes this such a lovely place though, are the owners. All the booking and queries we had beforehand were dealt with so helpfully. Our welcome was delightful, we got lots of helpful tips and, following an unexpected fall over a paving stone, we were dispatched to the airport complete with ice pack for a very badly bruised wrist. Thank you Maria and family, we really enjoyed our time with you. Jo and family
Our family of 5 stayed in this apartment for one week over Christmas 2014. It is about 10 minutes walk from either the Vatican Museum or the Plaza at St. Peter's. The apartment is also a reasonable walk from other major attractions in Rome such as the Pantheon, the Forum and the Colosseum. Also very easy access to supermarkets and other shopping. The apartment is spacious, clean and well appointed. The owners are very attentive and helpful. We would definitely use this apartment again when visiting Rome.
We were very impressed with the apartment and the location. It was clean, fully equipped, spacious and perfectly located for touring the Vatican. We especially enjoyed the balcony where we could sit out in the evenings and enjoy the city sounds. We found grocery stores, markets, plenty of restaurants and places to shop all in walking distance. The apartment is located on the top floor of the building so it was a bit of a climb with the suitcases but we managed it (even after our "Path of the Gods" walk a couple of days earlier). Camilla was very informative when we arrived and went through all the instructions and provided lots of information on the area. We had a great stay and would rent this apartment again.
The apartment is located in one of the most famous streets for shopping. Even if main touristic attractions are withing walking distance, the area is very authentic as roman people live here. Therefore you can find good bars, restaurants and supermarkets at very reasonable prices.
Cinemas and pubs can represent a good alternative to restaurants and pizzerias. You have the priviledge to reach Saint Peters by feet enjoying a nice short walk. From the terrace, overlloking Piazza Risorgimento you can enjoy the evening lights.
You can not choose a better place where to spend your holiday!
