Conil de la Frontera has about 18.000 inhabitants and is one of the 'white villages' .From here you can do daytrips to Cadiz which is one of the oldest cities in Europe, to Jerez with its Sherry Bodegas and Seville with its moorish achitecture. Also Gibraltar and Tarifa with its ferry to Marocco are only a short drive away. The average temperature is 28º in summer and 18º in winter. With 3.000 hours of sunshine annually this part of Spain holds the record. Most visitors to Conil are Spaniards and although tourism has increased there is none of the massive development so common on other parts of the Spanish coast. Ideal for relaxation or adventure as a gateway to Spanish delights such as Seville and Cadiz. Within 20 minutes you can reach 3 golf courses (ex. Montenmedio, Novi Sancti Petri).
