Walden is a quiet and harmonious place. Here you can find woods, pastures with cattle, olive trees. Wide spaces where adults and children can find the pleasure of playing, relaxing, walking, being in contact with nature and animals. A rural yet comfortable environment offers three spacious apartments that are furnished with particular care for detail, ideal for couples, families and groups. An 80 square-metre common room is meeting point for meals, creative and cultural activities. Walden is equipped with a photovoltaic-system making it self-sufficient for electric power production. Further there is a weaving lab with two traditional looms.

Tremotino - is a large apartment on the ground floor surrounded by a big lawn that borders with the wood. It's composed of kitchen - sittingroom, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a terrace. Another nice shady place is under an holme-oak near by.

Walden is 4 km from Ficulle, the next village and 18 km from Orvieto far. It lies between Rome and Florence and offers so possible day-outings in many historical towns of Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany. Todi, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia are jewels of Italian culture to be enjoyed in alternation to the peace and calm at Walden. The Bolsena Lake is great for bathing and can be reached in 3/4 hour. At only 35 min. from Walden there are the Thermal Baths of San Casciano.

Ein wunderschoener erholsamer Urbaub zu viert !!

Wir hatten die Wohnung Tremotino mit insgesamt vier Personen gemietet.

Die Hausleute waren sehr nett und immer für uns da, wenn wir Fragen hatten.

Die Zimmer waren sehr geraeumig und sauber.

Es ist alles vorhanden was man zum Leben braucht und was das Herz begehrt ( Geschirr, Besteck, Glaeser, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster usw. ). Besonders der Wein vom Haus hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Uns wurde auch angeboten, dass wir uns Salat und Gemuese aus dem eigenen Garten holen koennen.

Auch ist es moeglich, im hauseigenen Restaurant zu essen ( einen Tag im Voraus vorbestellen ). Das essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Es gibt landestypische Kueche und Spezialitaeten, die man in den anderen Restaurants nicht umbedingt bekommt.

Der Pool war sauber und man konnte das Sonnenbad in aller Ruhe geniesen.

Das Grundstueck insgesamt war sehr gepflegt, vor allem war es wunderbar gruen und es bluehten ueberall Blumen.

In der Umgebung gibt auch mehrere Supermaerkte. Um dort hin zu kommen braucht man aber unbedingt ein Auto.

Es gab keine boesen Ueberraschungen. Alles war so, wie es in der Online-Anzeige beschrieben war.

Insgesamt war es ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und sehr erholsam.

Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen und koennen "Walden" auch unseren Freunden empfehlen.
