If you like style in the details, character and charm then let our house woo you with all that it has to offer. You won't be bored to death with never ending dry wall here ... You WILL find all the amenities you love and want in a vacation home, PLUS a property and home unlike any on the rental market in Fallbrook.
We bought this home 11 years ago because of the stunning property. We updated the house by putting in an abundance of used brick, state of the art appliances, a wine cooler, hand forged iron details made by our friend and master craftsman-the late Danny Caezar, an antique mantle salvaged from a castle in England, 2 AC/heating units (one for each end of the house), a grand deck and terraced back yard complete with gas fire pit and spa and many more wonderful touches to make this a home we never want to sell, and one you'll never want to leave! And most importantly, one we hope you will want to come back to again and again.
The family rooms have plenty of couch space to sprawl and watch a movie or take a great nap. Two large flat screen TVs with DVR, DVD, and Blue Ray.
The kitchen is a favorite feature of our guests. It's got a vaulted tongue and groove barrel ceiling, double ovens, gas burners, huge fridge and freezer, microwave, disposal, dishwasher, and stunning granite counter space like you won't believe. If you plan on cooking, it's the bomb of kitchens! Plus, it's beautiful.
The table seats 8 comfortably. Ten can fit cozily and there is room for 4 at the counter with stools. (Not to mention a plethora of outdoor eating spaces.)
The Master bedroom has its own private deck complete with umbrella and comfortable wicker chairs perfect for morning coffee. The king size bed with a Pottery Barn iron bed frame is comfy as can be and there are plenty of soft, cozy blankies in the cupboard to make it just right for your sleeping pleasure. And of course, a private bath and large walk in closet. (FYI closet is large and very well ventilated so that it is also perfect for a porta crib and cozy sleeping spot for baby.)
Bedroom #2 has 3 twins beds (one bunk and another twin, totaling 3 beds).
Bedroom #3 has a queen size bed.
A twin daybed resides in a nook in the hallway.
Bedroom #4 has 2 twin beds in the form of a bunk bed. (The upper bunk is quite high and not recommended for young children.)
All bedrooms have real wood blinds covering the windows (which you will surely want to open up as you sleep to let in that peace and quiet--the special kind you don't find just anywhere).
You will find 2 tubs in the bathrooms and all the extras you might need, like plush towels, hair dryers, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, tp, kleenex, and the like.
The yard is PERFECT for children and doggies (both well behaved, preferably). We have lots of our own (both kids and dogs) so we are well suited for either. Fenced with lots of grass as well as a sunken trampoline, spa over looking a beautiful creek full of Oak trees, a BBQ, a fire pit for s'more roasting, a huge deck with lots of seating for dinner or lounging and a wonderful place to just rest. It's likely where you will spend a lot of time, if you are anything like us!
Enjoy a few ping pong and foosball games on the outdoor tables too. We have corn hole, badmitten and croquet as well.
Great neighborhood for walking and/or running as well as dog walking. Very, very limited traffic due to there being no outlet. Just awesome tranquility! And we are nestled in the very, very back--all tucked away snug as can be for total privacy.
You will find a welcome notebook to help you navigate the town complete with retail and restaurant suggestions.
Please feel free to get in touch with me prior to booking with any questions you may have. I'm happy to work with you as you plan your stay.
Thank you for looking at our property.
Andy and I are born and bred Californians. We bought this house in 2004 and spent the next few years doing a complete remodel. We love the home we have created and our sincere hope is that others will enjoy the same serenity and beauty of this special place that we have for so many years. Come make some memories! Blessings!!

You'll know once you come. Its very special.
Close to town yet private and quiet.
My wife and I came here to unwind and reconnect -- and we did just that! The home and property are absolutely lovely. It was quiet and peaceful and simply wonderful. Comfortable home with all the amenities we could ask for. Highly recommend. We felt so far from it all, and yet, so close too!
Rented this lovely home for a college retreat, and it was everything we expected and more. Clean, spacious rooms, heating, A/C, and WiFi worked perfectly. Kitchen is simply amazing, with one of the largest islands I have ever seen, and made the cooking so much easier. Nice wood floors throughout most of the house too!
We loved the fact this house sits on such a large parcel, so plenty of separation from the nearest neighbors, and you don't have to worry about being too quiet, although I wouldn't recommend renting this out for any wild parties, haha. The backyard was vast as well.
Would definitely recommend this house to anybody.
This home is perfect for a big family getaway. My husband and I, seven kids, one spouse, one grandson and a dog gathered here from three states for a long holiday weekend. Just after we arrived, all the kids spontaneously gathered around the (huge!) kitchen island to share stories and catch up. (It warmed this mommy's heart).
The kitchen had all the appliances, dishes, and utensils I needed to feed my crowd. The extra large fridge and freezer held everything we bought at the store to feed 11 people for four days. (That's a lot of food!)
The house has three sitting rooms, with lots of space for everyone to relax, play games, and watch movies together. My musical kids played the piano for us, and we enjoyed the backyard firepit, jacuzzi and trampoline during our stay. We were also very happy to watch our grandson run around with the dog in the big fenced yard.
The house was clean and tidy, and just as described in the listing. We loved that it was a single-story home, with no flights of stairs to navigate (just three low steps that lead into one of the living areas).
Bethany was wonderfully responsive whenever I had a question, both before and during our trip. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful home for any large family vacation.
I rented this beautiful home for my family (7 adults) for 4 nights during the time of my sisters wedding at the Grand Tradition (which was conveniently located near to the home).
The home was better then the photos in terms of size and decor. The fantastic kitchen was massive and we spent the majority of our time around the big island. My niece and nephew loved the in ground trampoline and the whole family enjoyed the large deck and fire pit. With all of the comfortable seating areas near to the kitchen, outside and in the family room, there was plenty of room for people to hang out without feeling cramped. My sister even got ready in the home before the wedding.
The only issue was that they discovered the dishwasher was broken the day before our arrival and it was unable to be repaired for the duration of our stay as it needed to be replaced. But honestly, it didn't really hinder our experience as we had plenty of hands for washing. The owner contacted us apologetically ahead of time and was readily available for questions. Therefore, I would still rate this 5 stars.
If there is ever a reason for me and my family to stay in Fallbrook in the future, I would definitely rent this home again.
Everything was wonderful, love the open space kitchen, ping pong table, fire pit, large deck and many beds to accommodate our family. The only down fall was the dish washer wasn't working. We will return next year.
This beautiful home feels much larger than its 3000 square feet. Its open floor plan and beautifully appointed interior makes it a wonderful place for a large gathering. The table games, spa, fire pit and deck seating made the outside a resort for our family. We were in town for our grand daughter's wedding so this home a perfect retreat for us, where we could relax and enjoy our family in a park like setting. The neighborhood is quiet and provides many walking areas. We especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen where our family gathered to enjoy each other's company. We immediately felt as though we were home and the owner, Bethany was a delight to deal with. This is a five star home with a five star owner! Thanks for making our weekend so much fun!
Fallbrook is a quiet, just out-of-the-way-enough, charming, quaint town as well as the perfect in-between resting spot for all your vacation adventures. The best part of Fallbrook is we don't get the intense heat of the Temecula wineries (but DO go visit for the day) nor do we get the socked in days the beaches do. Hit the theme parks for the day then come home to your private residence to grill outside on the huge deck and then soak in the spa before you go out and find your next adventure.
