Patti and San Giorgio: Patti is a medieval city. Monasterio is located on the top of the mountain. The tight alleys are paved with brick. There are a lot of shops for shopping and options to rest. The San Bartolomeo cathedral is from the 17th century. Here you will find the sarcophagus of the Queen Adelasia, the mother of King Roger II. The Villa Romana di Patti with mosaics was left in the 4th century and destroyed by an earthquake the same year. San Georgio is a small fishing village with a long beach. On the main street you will find restaurants and bars. The restaurant Rocco's Number One is recommended. In San Giorgio, you can get everything you need for everyday life. Bakeries, supermarkets, butcher, pharmacy and a post office are available. The beach of San Giorgio is a pebble/sand beach and even in the holiday months (July-August), it is not overfilled. The sea water has an extraordinarily good quality.

Tindari, lagoons from Olivieri and Capo d’Orlando: Tindari is a Catholic pilgrimage site and an antique cultural site with a large pilgrimage church located on the mountain. It houses the image of the wonderful Madonna Nera (Black Madonna). Drive over the main street through Patti towards Messina. From Tindari, you have a fantastic view of the sea and the lagoons of Oliveri. The water of the lagoons of Oliveri is very warm and crystal clear. A kilometre-long beach invites you to swim and relax. Swimming shoes are ideal due to the many sea urchins. Capo d'Orlando is 89 km west of Messima on the foot of the cape bearing the same name. Here about 13,000 residents live, who work mainly in agriculture, handcrafts, fishing and tourism. A lot of hotels and the location directly on the Mediterranean Sea have made the city into a tourism centre.

Lipari Islands and San Stefano di Camastra: The Lipari Islands Volcano, Lipari, Salina, Filicudi, Alicudi and Stromboli are popular one or two day tours. You can leave Milazzo daily with the hydrofoil. On the Volcano Island with its active volcano and its sulphuric sources, you can also visit the crater with a guide. The largest island is Lipari. Here you will find the picturesque city of Lipari. The islands of Stromboli, Lipari and Volcano are visited most frequently. The Aetna is the highest active volcano in Europe (3340 meters). Through its recurring eruptions, there is a constant change of vegetation. Its lava landscape is particularly impressive. On the way from Patti to Aetna, Randazzo is at the foot of the volcano. Here there is a large market every Sunday. San Stefano di Camastra is a small village, which earns its money mostly through the working of clay in all forms (clay pots and art objects).
